Thank goodness that this season doesn't count and is pretty much only extended exhibition games for us. All the players will have another year if they so desire, even if they are seniors.
However that being said, I myself am SURE that CJS will be able to recruit his own idea of talent and piece this team together better after this year.
I also hope that CJS instructs the players on this team to NEVER Come here to read anything about football if they know about the site. Lots of people on this board have no shame and are disgustingly condescending to the students (KIDS!!!) on this team. Hate armchair quarterbacks who bad mouth players at this level who seem to be trying their best.
It's a message board...

McCloud is not our guy. He ismt that quick and while pretty accurate he has no command of the team as a leader it appears. Flowers would will this team to score. He has no pocket awareness either.
It's not all his fault his o line and receivers are mediocre. His OC isnt good either.
It's all a big $^# sandwich
ECU blitz everyone...people were wide open a good portion of the night...FOOLS GOLD

Don't you think the line playing like crap and allowing ECU rushers unabated had something to do with that. When you are surrounded and running for your life, it can make you look bad. Yet I never hear anyone blaming our woes on the OL.
The Oline actually wasn't the problem...ECU blitz's a ton AND HADNT HAD A SACK ALL YEAR... McCloud is god awful at moving quickly when pressure comes...seriously, he is the worst in the country at this...

Because neither of them are as good as McCloud.
Now let me ask you a question. Think about it, then answer. Do you really think that the coaches who see the players every single day of the year, and you don't, don't know who the best player is? Really? Do you think they are purposely trying to play the worst players we have? When their livelihoods and salaries depend upon it. And if they lose games, they could actually lose their jobs? If McCloud is playing, it is because he is the best QB we currently have. Period, end of story. The coaches who have seen him every day for the past 300 days, and you haven't, and get paid millions to make that judgement, believe it is so.
Maybe we need to recruit better quarterbacks. Totally agree there. But McCloud is playing because he is better, or the coaches who see him every day, believe he is the best they have, and their livelihoods depend upon it. The fans' don't.
Or Fortin hasn't played enough becaue of Covid...or they wanted to go with Marsh but he wasn't available to play this week...

I dont understand why we cant just give another QB the game. I'm so sick of watching McCloud run our offense. Johnson, Fortin, I honestly wouldn't care if they ran wildcat all night, it isnt like McCloud can throw anyway at least youd have a real athlete.
Also what a disappointment Sails and Hampton have been this year.
I would be shocked if McCloud starts again...

I am not a Jordan hater but the quick passes to the WRs take a long time to get there. He's fairly accurate but are strength isn't a plus.
Yes, my point exactly...you need to whip them out there...that is one of his many problems...his biggest problem is his ability to feel and react to pressure...he may be the worst qb in the country at that...

McCloud has not been the problem today. Defense and special teams have. Period.
As far as the fumble, anyone could have fumbled on that play, the defender put his helmet right on the ball. No one goes through a season without fumbling. Not Quinton Flowers, Not BJ Daniels, no one.
He also threw several passes down the field. Which game were you watching?
Defense and special teams have given up 31 points. That is why we are down 2 TD's.
McCloud has absolutely been the problem...lollipop passes to the wr on the sideline...when thrown correctly, quickly...the wr can immediately shoot up the field instead of square dancing with the cb for a 2 yard gain... on the stat sheet though it pumps up his completion percentage...yay...let's talk about his ability to move away from pressure...just kidding, let's not...because it doesn't exist...he isnt the future...as soon as another qb is ready he needs to go...

Wrong...

Hey, what do you know...McCloud still has a weak arm and looks like he has concrete shoes on when he tries to scramble...he STILL isn't the guy...

You know that superdrunk superspreaders are suggested to be more dangerous than regular superspreaders.
I think I am going to print out leaflets that have the definition of a fallacy, as well as the top 10 logical fallacies and pass them out...

I think the one causing most damage was a legit big back at 230lbs.
He did some damage...(3.9 ypc in that game) the lighter back seemed to do a little better (although he is heavier then any back we have as well)

You know you have mice for RB's when 205 lbs is considered a big back.
205 is a pretty decent size...the Tulsa RB's that ran over UCF were 190 and 214...did anyone really doubt the size of our rb stable though?

Out of all these QBs on the roster, what are the chances we could miss on every single one of them. Only at USF! This is not all on CJS. Didnt CCS recruit most of these dudes?
I dont follow recruiting much, do we have anyone promising in the pipeline for next year?
We have another qb Tim McClain that has promise...his film is similar to some of the other guys that are currently on our roster...they are still early on the process relatively speaking though with our current roster...One of these qb's will surface...they just need an extended amount of playing time...
-
I mean I watched the game till the end and he looked good in mop up duty...we desperately need to mix in a bigger back with the other guys we have so it would be a welcome addition...
-
Thanks for posting...maybe we can go back to this video in a year or two and laugh to ourselves because we are so much better...or we laugh hysterically because we are still terrible...flip a coin...

Wait till next week when Temple doesn't blitz every player 80% of the time and wr aren't wide open and they disguise coverages...I guess then it will be back to McCloud sucks again....actually it might not be that becaue he will be confused and hold the ball to long...then it will be...its not his fault our Oline sucks...so I'm not sure how the board will react...
