  1. The announcers for CBS (who I like) thought it was piling on to go for it on 4th down.

I totally disagree.   Cinci had their starters in and were trying to come back and they are a team that is capable of that.   I found myself squirming a little at the end of the third.

We had our 2nd team in and ran it every play down the field and they were unable to stop us.  That last pass play was reward for their efforts - especially Bench.

It is not like we were slinging passes and trying to run up the score.

Its not our responsibility to take the foot of the pedal. We did put in most of our 2nd string and they were not able to stop that either.  What would the announcers like us do , Take 3 knees than punt each possession?    Cincy kept fighting as we would expect them to do, Had they threw in the towel and gone to a vanilla offense(3 runs and punt) I suspect Coach T would had done the same.(not like we were running trick plays or piling it on) We only scored 14 points in the 2nd half (after scoring 51 in the first)(so they  should feel lucky we called the dawgs off)  Also When you don't play all out you risk getting injured as well.   Tired of hearing losing teams complain about being blown out. If you don't like being blown out than don't let it happen to you.

  2. Mark Lemonis Chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises , TV celebrity, Philanthropist   made a plea on Facebook to the Miami Hurricanes fans and the university urging the university to build a new stadium for their Football team. He said he would donate the first 1 million if they commit  to building a stadium.  His reasoning is the stadium is Too big, too far from campus, not fan friendly for college football esp the students ect.... the same things our fans complain about all the time.

We need someone to step up like him and start the same conversation and put pressure on USF to do the same. (Sorry for starting another OCS thread but see the similarities with poor attendance ect..).  Wish I had his deep pockets (Id make the  same offer but that's not my reality so cant).   Im sure that many of us would be willing to donate what WE COULD to a stadium fund if one was started.  Reading the post replying to his original post it looks like its gaining some traction(former Players have also committed to donating as a result).   Will be interesting to see how this plays out.  http://www.stateoftheu.com/2015/11/21/9776870/the-profit-has-spoken-and-hes-got-1-million-to-help-the-u-build-the

  3. We only lose this game if we beat ourselves.  We are the MUCH BETTER TEAM.  With that said anything can happen in a rivalry game so we need to come out firing as if we are playing Alabama.   I think with everything on the line( possible AAC championship appearance with a win and Temple Loss), and the last 2 years of losing esp being shut out at home, We will be more fired up for this game than ever.

    Bulls Win Big!!!

  4. God's Team sneaking in could mean that 2 P5's are left out .... this is going to be fun to watch.

I agree ND would get in if they win next week at Stanford.   Question I have is does ND share Bowl revenue with the ACC since they are partially in the conference?

Also would they keep UNC out of the payoffs if they win the ACC championship game over Clemson or will that win be enough to climb 6/7 spots?

  5. Considering the last few years the attendance was not that bad Esp in the student section and the home side.

Attendance is a problem other places as well. Is being reported that Miami had a cpl hundred people maybe a  thousand(if being generous here) for their game today vs Ga Tech.( Far less than we had).  ESPN didn't even post the attendance in the box score.( ESPN protecting its interest).  Maybe someone from the trib cab get the announced and actual attendance for the game for those of us who would like to know. The pics from the game are hideous.      MD also had a terrible showing as well, so bad they put the seniors parents in the student section along with Huge MD flags to hide the empty seats.

I hear a lot complaining here about our attendance while watching the game on TV.  You do realize that if your watching on TV you are part of the problem correct?  Want to do something, buy tickets and show up, stop complaining.

  6. UConn will be fighting for a bowl next week, and they play good defense. I can see that one being close.

This game is over, but if we beat UCF all day the pressure is on temple

Agree,  We need to show up Thursday, Be Loud, Proud and run them out of their own bld by blowing them out.  Put all the pressure on Temple again next week against a team looking to get their 6th win (hopefully if they lose to Houston today).   I see UConn as a dangerous team for Temple. Both play good defense. UConn is 19th in Team defense for points allowed.

  7. REGARDLESS of todays outcome, NO EXCUSE for Bulls Fans not to be in Orlando Thursday  Night.  Win and wait and see how Temple UConn plays out. A chance to be there in person (taking over the Tin Box) rooting on our team, celebrating the turn around season and watching our Bulls beat the snot out of our little sisters to the East.

  8. Lynch hurt his leg (knee, or ankle) in the first qt.    Looks like he is trying to play with the injury.

Good thing Memphis is still in the game( 1 score game at this point)(fg would still win it).    Also Memphis D is stepping up big time,  Temple Usually outscores opponents in the 3rd qt big time.

  9.

I value my car and my tires too much to go to a UCF game. I do have a USF parking decal.

Don't think they will have too many fans there giving their record,  Day of game and what is on the line(USF winning  the East with a slot in the Championship game).     No excuses for ANYONE not to be there.   Most likely the Biggest game in USF football history to date.( chance for conference championship)

  10. Regardless of the outcome tonight (hoping for a huge win tonight),  I Want to see EVERY BULL fan in Orlando next week,  Tickets are plentiful, (their fans appear to have quit on them looking at last nights game and the cpl before last night).   We need to make the Tin box a  home game.  We need to be loud as hell, so those UCF students on campus that didn't go to the game hear us from their dorms.  We need to beat them down for the last 2 years of smack talk about how they passed us by, leaving us behind for the Big 12 Ect...   Time to restore order and show them Who their Daddy is.

  11. I think that was mostly done in the 1980's before they were able to watch every game on TV...

    from ESPN article.

The 13-member selection committee will not only provide the final Top 25 rankings, but will determine which teams go to which New Year's Six bowls that do not have conference tie-ins. In other words, you'll see fewer bowl reps on campus wearing tacky blazers because they have no control over who comes to their bowl. That's right: no control over what team plays in their bowl. Nada.

The selection committee will determine who plays where. Another big change: Bowls can no longer skip teams in the rankings to pick a lower-ranked team that travels better. The bowl teams will be selected based on the highest-available ranked team.

They will be there tonight, Saw a few last week from the Miami Beach Bowl (Blake Guthrie and Padilla) .
