Lovie is motivated to beat us after the embarrassing loss last year. I heard him define the loss the same in an interview. They don’t have the dynamic play makers or speed we have, but should be a much closer game today.  Go Bulls.

Any news on the status of his injury sustained against GT?  I know he came back into the game and played like a champ, but wondering if anyone had specifics from staff?

I recently underwent hip  replacement surgery and am now rehabilitating at home .

As a result, we will be watching the FB game tomorrow on TV. 

Both of us have some other health issues we are dealing with.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.  My mom had a successful hip replacement. As you know takes some time to recover, but you will be mobile again in a couple of months.

Good picture of CCS. Rare win...goes to show the hurdles we have from a national view. People will read this false narrative and buy in. 

Look forward to the day I look at this and we are a top 50 university.  

They are very negative about their chances against us. Apparently they have a bunch of key players out on suspension for team rule violations. I didn’t read through all of the self loathing, but it didn’t seem like they know when these suspended players will return (seemed like they will miss our game). 

Has anyone watched either of their two games and have a gauge on this team?  My guess is that we have the speed and they should have the size on both sides of the ball. 

Well our run defense will be tested again against an Illinois run heavy offense. Bush is a running QB and leads their team in rush yards. They run much more than they throw the ball.  Let’s see if we can get it right in our first road trip. Go Bulls.

Not sure when this was taken?  My guess is during half time. It was definitely a good place to escape the heat for 10 mins with the kids and not miss the action.

Happy to root on this young man. Grounded and smart. Met his wife at the end of the game, a very nice & proud young lady. 

Tackling on defense team wide still an issue. A lot of extra yardage given up on missed tackles. CCS addressed this issue and hopefully it is worked on as we continue to stack up our wins. 

Thank you to everyone who took the time to help an outer towner enjoy his time in Tampa. Ate at Ulele last night & was a great experience. It is amazing what they have done to the Tampa Heights area. Great win!  Go Bulls!!

Yes, heat was unrelenting. Our seats were exposed to the sun the entire game.  However, I would do it all over again...what a great experience and result. 

We haven't done well in the past with teams that control the clock.  GT will limit our offensive opportunities by utilizing the clock and eating up time.  We need to make every time with the ball count with points on the board.  Hopefully we will get help on the defense with also putting some points on the board.  Heading to Tampa...go Bulls!

Should be a great game; getting excited.
