I'm sure this question will provoke a variety of opinions:

Do you want UCF to beat Maryland this week?

Maryland is 29th and 28th, in the Coaches and AP polls.

Maryland is 2-0, having won @Texas.

    UCF plays @Maryland on Saturday.

Maryland is a 3.5 point favorite.

I wasn't referring to the end of the season situation, I was talking in the interim...they would jump us if we both maintained undefeated seasons but they would have a stronger SOS and a win over a ranked P5 (UCLA). In the end, we would face them and if we beat them, none of that matters because we'll jump them. It may end up being #9/10 Memphis vs #11/12 USF in the conference championship game.

    Sounds good to me.

There were drops, sure, especially that glaring one by McCants late.

Flowers overthrew a bunch of receivers too.  His passing was not as precise as we saw last week.

I think deep down we knew Heisman was no better than a long shot, and were curious how deep into the season he could go as a legit candidate.  2 games in and done is a bit surprising, considering we played San Jose State and Stony Brook so far.

If I'm thinking of the same drop, that pass was too high, as were a lot of his passes today (too high, too low, behind the receiver). I thought Flowers was past this. Hoping for a big turnaround next week.

Here's a thread hijacking question...IF everything goes according to the dream and we end up ranked #5 with a bowl win on New Years Day, where do we get ranked going into next season? Do we even get a preseason Top 25 ranking losing QF,  many many seniors, and possibly Coach Strong? I'm interested to see what everyone thinks..remember,  we end the season at #5 but lose everything mentioned above.

After losing QF and other important seniors, I think we're an 8 win team at best next year. So no, I don't think we'd be ranked. QF is the heart and soul of the team, he's that important.

And...another recruit dropped from a 3 star to 2 star.  We had 21 3 stars and somehow that now dropped to 14.  Some highly rated 3 star guys suddenly, for no apparent reason, dropped significantly.  Some of them were some of our highest rated recruits and dropped to 2 stars.  I say again, what the heck is going on!?!?

Who is in charge of this site and is this being fixed.  A lot of these guys were just rated as 3 stars, then suddenly 4-5 days later, were re-rated as 2 stars.  This is getting ridiculous.

    G5 baby.

  6. That's the thing with the draft. Of course he would've preferred being picked Rd 1-3, but it's more important who picks you. He has a real shot to succeed with the Colts. One of the best younger QB's in the NFL will be handing him the ball. The RB depth chart isn't too daunting either. Mack has a very good chance to make some real money down the road if he can make it to the next contract.

  7. I guess it's a possibility:

USF athletic director Mark Harlan headlines early candidate list for Greg Byrne’s replacement at Arizona

Mark Harlan has been in charge of the athletics department at the University of South Florida since March of 2014. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Political Science and a masters in Education from Arizona. Harlan also has some fundraising experience at Arizona.

In the early stages, Harlan would be the front runner to replace Byrne at Arizona. It’s an alum, and a guy that has proven himself in this particular job.
