Not sure where you are seeing that, but it can't be guaranteed money.  He's getting somewhere around $40 K for his one week cameo, and he'll continue to get that if he can stick next week and into next year.  Pretty good money for a weeks work, but you'd have to think his odds of sticking aren't too great for next year unless he does something good in the next two weeks.

" B.J. Daniels signed a 2 year, $1,100,000 contract with the Houston Texans, including an average annual salary of $550,000. In 2015, Daniels will earn a base salary of $60,000. Daniels has a cap hit of $60,000. "

  2. Best WRs we will have in USF history IMO. The question is will we have the QB to deliver the ball to them?

Rodney Adams- SR - set USF receiving record.

D'ernest Johnson JR- best receiving back we have ever had IMO

Tyre Mccants Rs Soph- highly touted, showed flashes in bowl game.

Ryshene Bronson Jr? - highly touted, has shown flashes.

Chris Barr Soph- Explosive as a freshman. Will only get better

Elkanah Dillon Rs Soph?- Guy is huge and has hands. Matchup nightmare, has shown flashes this year

PLUS Darnell Salomon a 4* Recruit we have coming in next year.

I think this is the most talent we have ever had at receiver, we just need to develop a passing game and well be dangerous

Im in the minority but I dont care

    Tom Allen = overrated

Not in the slightest. Our defense improved EXPONENTIALLY in his FIRST and ONLY year. It would only be better as the years went on as the kids got older and got more knowledgeable in the system

What up and comers do you know of though that haven't been taken already by a P5? I have a couple names from the Sun Belt, but have my doubts on coming from that conference.

Plus we just took an up and comer and he only stayed here 1 year.

Just like we pulled an LB coach out of Ole Miss (Tom Allen) We can look at position coaches out of these big programs or a guy thats hot on a smaller team. Theyre out there, lots of coaches havent left their teams yet because of bowl season.

  5. We will be playing a ranked opponent on national television, where we are the ONLY game slated in that time.

Yes 230 on Monday is not a great slot for a game but guess what its not great for attendance, for viewership its really not so bad considering the game will end around 6 o clock leading into primetime NFL monday night game.

We will get to showcase to the entire nation our team in a way we havent gotten to in years.

The storyline is great, Ex coach vs Ex team, Both teams are on the hottest streaks in college.

Both teams play exciting football to watch.

According to Joey Knight we have already sold half our allotment for the bowl and still have 11 days to sell the rest.

WKU fans are reportedly gonna show up in big numbers seeing as this is the peak of their programs history.

This game could be a turning point to showcase ourselves to the entire country.

If we come out and beat them handedly like we were manhandling Temple,Cincy, the whole country will take notice!

South Florida 44- 20  BOOK IT!!

  6. if it were YOU and you were going to potentially go from 1 million to 4 million a year, would you not at least entertain an interview???? Exactly. Even the most die hard bulls fans would. So quit judging the guy ya it sucks but it's better than the hot seat problem.

Football, basketball, baseball, it doesn't matter. You've got to have balls. What he did was without balls.

The success the team had this year, it wasn't all him. It was all of them together, all the coaches and the players, and USF for paying the salaries and supporting the students. And then before the last game of the season is even played, he tried to cash in on the success -all by himself.

"You" don't interview for these types of jobs if you don't want the job. If you did, it would just mean that you're that low of a person to be wasting other people's time. Therefore, he wanted the SC job. I have no doubts about that.

He's back. That means for whatever reason(s), he didn't get to cash in at SC and leave everyone behind. Now, he will try to get a bigger paycheck at USF, if not at another place.

To me, he's no longer Coach Taggart. He's just Taggart now.

  7. Everyone who can't win right away says this.. Or at least implies this. That's why I wouldn't be so quick to reward 2/3rd's of a good season because 1 team interviewed him. OK Willie, you garnered some interest as possibly a 3rd option for SC, noted. If next season starts like this 1 finished, we'll lock you up (with a considerable buyout) before December comes around next year so that this doesn't become an annual thing.

ya good points hope youre right.
