He thinks "momentum" is what caused the A whooping....momentum gives you and extra td maybe 2 here or there. Not 48 points. We manhandled them, if he's blind to that he's not gonna be coaching there much longer.

Does anyone here believe Taggart wants to settle down here and build like Leavitt wanted? Id like to believe he cant be lured away. What do you all think? I dont know if I am just being biased but I think theres a chance that he stays here regardless.

If Memphis win tomorrow, I think we win the conference. We have too much momentum and I dont see anyone stopping us how weve played these last 2 games. I cant remember the last time we were this dominating

I really hope we put in bench.....if we lose flowers we come out as losers this game.

I really hope its on their website tonight but if not does anyone know of any other way to watch online??

Sanchez in my opinion is still slow, and on a LOT of plays is seen missing a tackle, or not wrapping up. Now if that is a product of him being bad or actually being good to put himself in a position to make plays all over the place but not always finish them, I dont know. There are a LOT of plays where he is in a position to make a sack or tackle and the player is more elusive than him and he whiffs.
To his credit he has shown he has an excellent motor and is almost always around the ball.
And more importantly he is a LEADER on the defense. And that may go farther than his physical abilities do.
I dont think he is as bad as Lanaris by any means but I definitely dont think he is as good as Kion Wilson, Dede Lattimore or Sam Barrington were for us.

They are 6-4 and were the favorites to win the conference before the season, they are 6-4 JUST LIKE US.
People seem to forget that.
3 out of 4 of their losses came against ranked opponents, JUST LIKE US.
ALL 4 LOSSES they have are by a margin of 1 score or less. This is huge, they have not been blown out by anyone all year and have been in every game of the year into the 4th.
Their offense is probably the best we will see all year aside from FSU.
Historically Cincinatti has our number.
This game is not a cake walk whatsoever and if we don't play our best game like we did this week against Temple we will lose no doubt about it.
heres to hoping our guys are dialed in!

This is not a knock on QF but no one knows how good our offense can REAALLY be if we get a great passer under center. Would it be possible that our run game would go through the roof with Marlon Mack? I personally think he is a future top 2 rounder. And he is only gonna get better.
Plus QF runs a lot which creates a LOT of opportunities to get hurt. I think the best man will play. Not just QB but leader.

Do we start to pull in fans now?? Win against Ranked team, bowl eligible, what do you guys think, how many show next week

PS This game is still far from over

Just came back to this game after a break. My reaction.

We gotta keep Temple on their heels keep them uncomfortable
-
WE CANNOT LET UP
-
Fourth or fifth best team, to be honest.
i am glad even a fanboy such as your self who goes out of his way to make a profile on the opponents forum is overlooking us. If even you are overlooking us there is a good chance Temple is as well. Which will make the beat down that much sweeter.

I could see 2 1000 all purpose yards among backs as Johnson has a lot of receiving yards
-
Yes, last 3 games on the schedule are winnable. Last one is against a community college.
don't disrespect community colleges like that!

We will be one of the best teams Temple has seen all year, but more importantly we will be the hungriest.
We have a lot more at stake this game than they do.
The feeling the air is that they just see a slightly above par football team they're gonna play on Saturday. While we have the opportunity to beat our first ranked opponent in 5 years, to reach first bowl game in 5 years, first to be in contention for the conference championship this late in the season since forever, and to have a winning record for the first time in 5 years.
I think this game means a lot more to our guys than it does to Temples players, and because of that we will play relentless, and will win.
I expect taggart to pull out all the stops and not play as conservative as he has these past few games but draw up more passing/ trick plays.
Temples team is not as good as their record, and our record isn't as good as our team has become.
I have a STRONG feeling we pull the upset this game, I didn't feel like this before the navy game at all, but this game I can sense the players in that locker room believe an upset is COMING.

What I was originally saying is that Tom Allen has been the CATALYST for this team. Our defense has been the X factor this year that has created opportunities kept us in games, leveled the playing field.
Taggart Flowers and Mack and doing better than last year, but they aren't the change that has separated this year from the last. if we didn't have our defense play lights out week in and week out we would be WAY worse than 5-4.
Which is why I said Tom Allen is the REASON were winning.
If we had an offense that could put up points like cincy I could easily see us going one loss or undefeated in the future.

Unfortunately in the crazy chance we do make it to the ccg and WIN, that would be terrible overall for our conference. We want as many of our teams to stay unbeaten as possible, and would want our Conference Champion to try to sneak into the playoff. Us winning would just devalue our conference this year.

Just like the losses it is a team effort. Allen has the D on point. But remember all the assistants are just in their first year. Next year both sides of the ball will be even better. USF will be stacked next year, so exciting.
hopefully we can hold onto him at least a few years.....I see him bringing back the old USF defense from the JPP Selvie days

Not Taggart, Not Mack, Not Flowers, its on this man and the system and mentality hes implemented. If we can continue to develop an offense our team has a chance to be great on the backbone of our defense.

This first possession is gonna set the tone for the rest of the game. If we come out flat ecu will smell blood if we go down and score decidedly I think the game is ours
Flowers VS Woulard 2016

Woulard next year will have had 3 years to develop as a college qb under coaches. That WKU QB who was a nobody and got hurt a bunch of times and is now on his 6th or 7th year at WKU/ his final year is now turning heads all over the place. These years to learn and develop his craft im sure is converting his raw ability to skill
Scouts said Woulards ceiling is the NFL. If he can bring that level of play to our team he will start no doubt. If he cant be head and shoulders above QF or is just borderline the same he wont start. The best players are gonna play. And the best part of this is QF probably doesnt have a future in the NFL just because of their prototypical qb bias so if Woulard wins out and QF gets to develop at another position and play in the NFL thats a win win.
QF was one of the top athletes in the country out of HS , and hes got heart, so I definitely see him succeeding in another capacity if it came down to it.
