  1. Woulard next year will have had 3 years to develop as a college qb under coaches. That WKU QB who was a nobody and got hurt a bunch of times and is now on his 6th or 7th year at WKU/ his final year is now turning heads all over the place. These years to learn and develop his craft im sure is converting his raw ability to skill

Scouts said Woulards ceiling is the NFL. If he can bring that level of play to our team he will start no doubt. If he cant be head and shoulders above QF or is just borderline the same he wont start. The best players are gonna play. And the best part of this is QF probably doesnt have a future in the NFL just because of their prototypical qb bias so if Woulard wins out and QF gets to develop at another position and play in the NFL thats a win win.

QF was one of the top athletes in the country out of HS , and hes got heart, so I definitely see him succeeding in another capacity if it came down to it.

  2. Sanchez in my opinion is still slow, and on a LOT of plays is seen missing a tackle, or not wrapping up. Now if that is a product of him being bad or actually being good to put himself in a position to make plays all over the place but not always finish them, I dont know. There are a LOT of plays where he is in a position to make a sack or tackle and the player is more elusive than him and he whiffs.

To his credit he has shown he has an excellent motor and is almost always around the ball.

And more importantly he is a LEADER on the defense. And that may go farther than his physical abilities do.

I dont think he is as bad as Lanaris by any means but I definitely dont think he is as good as Kion Wilson, Dede Lattimore or Sam Barrington were for us.

  3. They are 6-4 and were the favorites to win the conference before the season, they are 6-4 JUST LIKE US.

    People seem to forget that.

3 out of 4 of their losses came against ranked opponents, JUST LIKE US.

ALL 4 LOSSES they have are by a margin of 1 score or less. This is huge, they have not been blown out by anyone all year and have been in every game of the year into the 4th.

Their offense is probably the best we will see all year aside from FSU.

    Historically Cincinatti has our number.

This game is not a cake walk whatsoever and if we don't play our best game like we did this week against Temple we will lose no doubt about it.

heres to hoping our guys are dialed in!

  4. This is not a knock on QF but no one knows how good our offense can REAALLY be if we get a great passer under center. Would it be possible that our run game would go through the roof with Marlon Mack? I personally think he is a future top 2 rounder. And he is only gonna get better.

Plus QF runs a lot which creates a LOT of opportunities to get hurt.  I think the best man will play. Not just QB but leader.

  5. What I was originally saying is that Tom Allen has been the CATALYST for this team. Our defense has been the X factor this year that has created opportunities kept us in games, leveled the playing field.

Taggart Flowers and Mack and doing better than last year, but they aren't the change that has separated this year from the last. if we didn't have our defense play lights out week in and week out we would be WAY worse than 5-4.

Which is why I said Tom Allen is the REASON were winning.

If we had an offense that could put up points like cincy I could easily see us going one loss or undefeated in the future.
