Do you use a dish or how do you get the streaming to work?

I don't do a dish. We get television from two ways. We have an antennae mounted to the trailer. It gets us all of the local channels. We also set my phone as a hotspot so the Roku can connect to my phone and stream ESPN or Hulu.

I think he was looking at him the whole time.  I was screaming at the television, "Throw the Ball!!"  It was like he waited for him to be covered and then threw it.   I'm still trying to figure out why they aren't throwing to Wilcox as much as they should.  He should be our go-to receiver.  Did he even get 1 throw in the first half?

I was watching on my phone while at my son's basketball game. I am pretty sure the people around me thought I was crazy. lol

  3. I have my season tickets and will be to every home game. Even if we are struggling the tailgate is always an awesome time. Feel free to come see us in Lot 7 off of North Dale Mabry near the trees.

What are you all grilling up this week. I think we are keeping is simple because we are bringing our sons to the game. However dads will be having our beers, playing cornhole, watching plenty of football and playing music while our sons throw the football around and take shelter under the tent and in front of the big fan.

I was pulling for Barnett, but the final straw was on a 3rd and long and he had Wilcox open along the sideline and he hesitated and hesitated and by the time he finally threw it, there was a defender on him and he didn't get the first down.  At this point, call it a re-building year and put in McCloud.   We know where we stand with Barnett.

It wasn't like he didn't see him open either. He was staring right at him. Just didn't pull the trigger until it was far too late.

im spending more than ever on usf season tickets.

Even when we're trash I still enjoy gameday, tailgating, and the first half until it gets out of control

Exactly. Even if the game is bad the tailgating is always fun. I have spent more on tickets, tailgating etc in the last few years than ever before. Congrats on your cruise @D B but your post belongs on the Carnival cruise line forum. Not here. It is ok to complain about the team but those that abandon it do not belong.

Remember, I’ve got you covered on Rocky. It’s not in a box. See ya next week at RayJay.

Yes sir this is true. BTW I tried to message you on Facebook. Do you need a Grothe? If not I have a friend I can give it to but I have an extra if you need a trade.

That's cool --- and I'm sorry if I made a big deal about it. I also think retreads rarely ever make any sense. The CJL that exists today is a shell of the one that was here 10 years ago. People get old

I definitely agree there. I was a student when he coached. It was exciting. He is definitely not the same guy he was back then.

Love how you interpreted that post- in a thread that is about CCS contract and most recently discussing what his buyout might cost --- that I was trying to insinuate anything about how FSU is doing other than what position they are in if they decided to get a new coach. Or trying to compare how our team is playing compared to FSU for that matter. Please feel free point it out to me if I am mistaken-- because that is completely on your imagination. My post was intended to only be about the potential contract buyout situation.

Or the other guy @Nick Carroll apparently thinking this was some thought that we should get CWT back as coach at USF. Not sure if that was off the cuff or derived from my post because I don't recall anyone in this thread talking about how we need CWT back at USF.

Literally none of those things were meant--- just pointing out how insanely large that buyout is compared to the (at last check in the thread) 1.5 million buyout for CCS. I mean-- that FSU- CWT buyout is big for ANY school - I don't care how loaded you are-- that is a bunch of money. And by that-- I was trying to say maybe USF isn't in such a predicament as I PERSONALLY previously thought.

Why we had to take this thread in the direction of "how well FSU will do going forward" or "why don't we bring back CJL or get Art Briles" --- where the hell did that come from? I cannot understand how the tangents work around here sometimes-- and the over reaction to such a simple post that I copied from another source. Maybe it read as negative about FSU-- which I am fairly indifferent about -- and if some FSU/USF fan took offense-- my apologies.

I only brought up how we do not want to bring the old coaches back because 9 times out of 10 that is how threads lean. It was meant as an attempt to stay on point. However it went there anyway so lesson learned.

Also long conversations tend to make tangents as it spurs other conversation points. but I digress. I don't to start a new tangent.

he inherited a team that went 11-2 the year before. he himself was able to win 10 games the following season with Taggart's players.

using the fact that players graduated as an excuse why our team has now lost 7 games in a row is foolish. every team loses players.

I am not saying I have the answers. I just don't like the scorched earth mentality that College football has become. You don't fix a leaking boat by burning it down. M Kelly needs to make assessments on staff and the staff that stays needs to asses the players.

Starting McCloud would exacerbate the problem. The challenge is the offenses need to establish it's identity and constantly changing people will make it difficult to figure out what is not working. Tonight both tackles were beaten badly.

I have to agree. McCloud was mostly playing against 2nd string defense. Also after this season we lose Barnett and best to not burn out McCloud early.

If we win the AAC title that would be Charlie would have prepared the team. We have seven straight games with zero preparation that has resulted in losses. This is Charlie's words not mine. Can you give me any evidence or hope that he can prepare the boys to fight and play some football?

I can not give evidence. I think they have made some steps to try to fix but in the first game against a ranked team it didn't show. I am mostly just saying we need to stop looking back. It is possible that a new HC is needed. I would say this is his hot seat season. He did inherit a team that CWT left that he himself knew would not have performed well have Flowers exit.

  12. It is typical human nature. When things are wrong we look back to when they were right. "We need CWT back." or further back "Bring back Leavitt" That is not how you fix things. Also dumping a coach with a payout means you can afford to pay less for your next coach and in our case that means a low tier coach. I like Strong and I want him to succeed. Yes the Wisconsin game was a **** show but seriously we have a new OC and a solid coach. Let them figure this out. A win against GT this weekend and maybe an AAC title makes this a good season in my mind.
