It is opened starting today depending on Bull Club levels. I do not get my window until Thursday. I am not sure what the discounted prices or locations will be yet.

I don’t think there is going to be much difference between a home or an away game from a fan’s perspective, if we can actually get someone to pay us being on the road is probably the greater benefit
To be determined. I have heard there are plans. Not going to say much more than that. If we follow along the FSU model of tailgating and attendence you can bet I will be there. If not I will watch from home.

So assuming ND & South Florida becomes official....add The Citadel - that replaces two out of three, are we still looking to add another? Probably should schedule all possible with such unknown out there..
The way I see it we need another home game. I wonder if anyone has the 5th open and is willing and able to travel to Tampa.

If there are multiple positive cases/outbreak within the team, couldn't one conclude that at least one or more of the positive cases were contracted during a university athletics event, practice, game, etc.?
I am an accountant and not a lawyer but I would think they defense would attempt to prove a number of other places that they could have obtained it. Also those places would likely not have the same stringent measures put in place to prevent transmission.
In the long run this virus is not going anywhere. What is the precident we are setting here?

Coupling Scott Frost's comments from yesterday and report that only Texas and Oklahoma want to move forward with football in the Big 12, it makes for an interesting scenario where these 3 schools may need teams to play or even a home. Aresco would be well advised to announce that the conference is willing take on select schools that may not have a home if their conference shuts down for football this fall. I'd recommend he not blow out any phone calls to the schools until the conferences give their blessing, otherwise the lawsuits start flying.
I'm getting tired of doing Aresco's job for him.
I am going to have to start getting the Tailgate trailer ready. If USF decides no crowds I will have to set her up somewhere and tailgate r120319 027.HEICegardless. lol

If they decide to move forward it could lead to significant exposure for the conference and beg the question if P5 players still want to play will they be allowed to transfer without sitting out.
That's a valid point. USF has always taken advantage when other teams won't. If large conferences sit out it means more eyes on AAC and the Bulls.

Notre Dame
WVU when they stormed the field
Auburn
Also how would we stream all of these? It's not like Hulu has them readily available. If we can pull this off I will set up tailgate trailer and watch them with the full set up going.

Question is what happens when some conferences play and others don't. How does the ranking system work. Will it be all SEC teams? Conferences like ours rely on OOC wins to prop up their ranking. How do you compare teams across conferences when none of them pay each other?

It buys another month or two to wait this out. With conference only games you can get away with a mid October start and play through what would normally be Bowl season. Come mid August if the outlook is like it currently is(it probably will be) they'll then cancel the season.
That makes sense.. Dollars and Cents lol

The BIG 10 just announced conference only football as of now. Feels like the first step towards no football.
I saw that. I am not sure what that solves. Conference only games still require travel to other areas right? I mean if AAC did only conference games we would have less games but would travel just as far for our conference games as our non-conference games.

Truth be told our new coach, returning players and new recruits/transfers have all of the potential in the world. However that is all it is until we put it on the field. Conversations may change halfway through the season when we start making a splash. Looking forward to a great start to a new era. Go Bulls!!

It's easy to cancel spring sports, in some ways it saves the university money. But they will not let the money from football go to waste.
This all makes sense. College football revenue pays for shortfalls in other sports allowing those sports to continue.

I will be there. Keep in mind the vaccine only helps to prevent catching it in the first place. It will not be available for 12-18 months. If it is as effective as the flu vaccine then it is only 50% effective. That said they are working on the right concoction of antibiotics to help fight it should you catch it. That should come around a lot faster than the vaccine.
That being said. I will be there.... Lets go bulls.

You can HAVE my inflatable bull for free. Just pay my shipping cost or pick up at my house in S. Tampa.
Important note: I made some mods to the power source. It came with a plug in power adapter that I ran off of the generator; however, I removed that adapter and rigged it to run from 8 AA batteries. I used rechargeable batteries and they would always last for at least the three hours we would be there. If you'd like it just PM me and I can get your address or whatever.
BTW: I was a season ticket holder from the very first game, but after two seasons ago, I finally succumbed to the train wreck and no longer get season tickets.
In the picture, just to be clear, the bull is the one on the left.
I messaged you. Did you get my message?

@Nick Carroll you're welcome. That was a heck of a game to be there for! I saw ya in the seats at half and will send you a picture of the two of you.

Thanks. He is still talking about it this morning. After All Pro Dad at Ray Jay in the morning and then this basketball game he had an epic kind of day.

I was still pissed about the Cincinnati game and figured we’re going down in flames again so I turned it off when they were down 9 with around 4 minutes to go.
Kicks self in A$$
Great win! After all the late game collapses this year this team needed a finish like this on senior night.
My son at 1 minute to go said “there’s no chance” I told him the world can change dramatically with 1 minute of basketball left.
-
@Brad thanks again for the tix. My son had a fantastic time and the game ended with a three point shot at the buzzer to go up by one. It was crazy. We made the 1/2 time ESPN broadcast too.

The club opens 90 minutes before tipoff. I like to arrive with 60 minutes to go. Because a lot of people don't know, I want to give you a heads up that you get soda and popcorn as part of the club access in addition to the pregame buffet. You'll want to be in the club with ~30 minutes to tipoff because Coach Gregory comes in to talk a little.
The parking spots aren't assigned other than the first couple of rows reserved for Iron Bulls.
Thanks. That helps a ton. Looking forward to it.

I have a few questions. I have been a football season ticket holder for years but I’ve only been to a couple basketball games and never had club access. How early should I show up prior to game time? Also I notice the parking pass has a number on it. Are the spots numbered or is it just for inventory purposes?

I have a couple pair available as well.
Thanks for the Tix Brad. My son has never been to a USF basketball game and he is super excited for tonight.

Looks like I missed my opportunity twice.
If anyone else wants to give away tickets I can use them. I am taking my son to All Pro Dad event at Ray Jay in the morning and it would be cool to also hit up a game. Thanks.

They were sold by Bulls Outfitter
I am planning to submit an NCAA application in order to actually reorder these in bulk and sell them at or close to cost to USF fans. I communicated with the company which produced them and they'll make a bulk order again but require an NCAA license, hence my quest. Hopefully by season I'll have something for ya!
That would be awesome. I’d like to be on the list.

Would you settle for a nurse that looks like a blowup doll

I saw that but the post was from 4 years ago.
Anyone buy tickets yet?

So do you have to order the same number of seats that you would have had on season tix?
For instance I always have 6 season tickets. For Tulsa I am not sure I will have more than 3-4 going but for UCF I might want to order more than 6.
