If we were to get a Home game to play for our first Conference Championship EVER, then I think we get to the 30-35K range. The caveat is that we would have to at least be ranked in the Top 25 and not have backed into the game because our division was weak, but we are actually playing good exciting football leading up to it.
I might be in denial, but I just don't want to believe that we wouldn't get pretty good attendance for something that would be historical for the program.
I agree.. I would just show up and have fun. Hopefully even with all of the back and forth on this thread most if not all of you would too.

I dunno. For the Bowl last year I renewed my season tix way early in order to get free tickets to the bowl game. It was not a huge game but it was one more game I could go to. Even after the end of season slide I was still motivated to renew tickets and go to the bowl game with little notice. If we won the AAC I would definitely be going to that game. I am sure a lot would. All fans know there is little notice when it comes to conference championships. You just do.

Every year I debate on joining the Alumni association. What are real benefits if any that you have received? All I can see is generic statements about coupons to local stores and restaurants etc.

Does he get to games ear-ly?
Does he prefer starry night games to noon kickoffs? We do get to the games early. Typically pulling in when the gates open 5 hours ahead of time. Night games are preferred as it allows for cooler temps.

Why do you think we are trying to get people over to our tailgate to take pictures with him. Geesh I thought this was assumed.

I hope for his sake we go undefeated.

This thread is all your fault. Keep your thoughts to yourself. But you did manage to get every argument boiled down to one topic. So
Seems like some blood is boiling before the season begins. Ready to come out and burn the house down!!! Let's Go BULLS!!!

What a roller coaster of a thread.
I was about to comment on the attendance malaise about half way in, but reading the rest of it now makes me ready to SMASH THROUGH A BRICK WALL!!!
I was there for Auburn, WV, FSU in 09, Miami etc. We will shock the country again.
That's the spirit. Don't let us in the room for the conversation? That's ok. Bulls will bust through the wall.

No one is arguing that however not sitting around waiting for something that may or may not happen. We got a team, we got some talent, let’s kick UW and GA Tech’s A$$ and live in the moment.
Exactly. We can talk about the team from the CJL days but that was a decade ago. People are hung up on the one week we were in the top 10 but that was 12 years ago. Live in the now.

Makes way too much sense. This kind of rationale thinking will never fly on this board sir! But I agree 100%!
You are probably right but it had to be said. lol.

Let me premise this with the facts that I am both Alumni and have been holding 6 season tickets for several years now.
That said every season I get excited about the upcoming season. I get eager to smell burgers on the grill at the tailgate, to hear the fight song played in the stadium, and to throw my horns up. Back when I was in college (the great years) we did not have this defeatist attitude as a fan base. We went to games because it was fun. If we lost we were still back the next week. I fought to catch any away game I could find on TV because more often than not it was **** near impossible. I was relegated to watching the updates on ESPN.com. Yet I still came back the next week. Yes we had some great wins but every season we had the slide at the end of the season. Yet I still came back.
Now I read through this board and all I seem to see are people complaining about a lack of an OCS. People hating this coach or that coach. People refusing to go to a game until we have a perfect season or are in a P5 conference. When did we get too big for our britches? When did the fans of a scrappy young football team think we deserve to sit with Alabama every week. We are still climbing. Sometimes that is slow and sometimes it is leaps and bounds. Sometimes we take a step back just to take two more forward. My point is these storied programs didn't make it to the P5 in 20 years. These programs were around for 100 years or more.
I guess my point is negativity is a cancer. Yes it is ok to be disappointed in a loss. It is fine to disagree with this coach or that coach. All that aside go to the games. Support these kids who are out there playing their heart out. The more full the stadium is the more exciting it is. The more exciting it is the more people will want to be apart of it.
In conclusion don't wait for the program to be a top tier team before supporting them. Be there now.

Make sure to follow him on Instagram before the 2nd home game. He will be there to take pictures and there will be USF swag to get for being the first ones to find him.

I'm in game mode. I want some action.
Work usually begins to go undone about a week out from kickoff. But the #PlayFastScoreFaster mentality has me in the #ThinkFootballWorkLess mentality so much faster than ever before.
So interested in seeing
- The new Bell offense
- If the defense stop the Badgers run game
- How well Horne is
- How Ford adds new dimension from slot/wide
- The gentleman run for 100+
Those come to mind right away....
What are you most interested in seeing?
Wish I could hit that luncheon tomorrow.
For this very reason my buddy and I have started working on our Tailgate trailer getting everything buttoned up, cleaned up and ready to roll. Also we started an instagram page for our USF gnome who will be tailgating the Bulls games and giving out swag as well. Just doing everything we can to build up the excitement for the return of the BULLS

If we follow the market and prepunch them we will find the one person with trypophobia and complain about how they can no longer go to the games and how stupid USF is for following the best business practices of their market. People complain about why should they buy season tickets when some guy on the corner is selling them for $15, so USF follows the trends and takes one of the few steps they can to alleviate the issue and then all of the sudden no one knows one of the 83% of people in Urban areas that have a smartphone and could use the digital form and they and no one in their group are even part of the 96% of people with a cellphone where they could just text them the image of the ticket or it would be completely impossible for them to print the image and explain to the ticket taker that they are some how prevented from engaging in a basic function of current society and could they please scan their print out.
Everyone is special and has individual needs that prevent them from the slightest change.

I am thinking of buying Lanyards and punching a hole in the card. Does anyone think this will be an issue? I am sure some of you have come across this in the Bucs or Lightning.

Very nice ...you started with the Man in the Mirror, asking him to change his ways.
Exactly. You get out of the game day experience what you put into it. You cannot control what happens on the field. (even though we all have our superstitions that we believe controls the outcome) In my honest opinion those who refuse to go until we have an OCS or they bring back Levitt or they have a undefeated season, etc. are not really wanting to be fans. They just want to complain. Yes I hate when we lose and I argue from the stands when bad decisions are made but I will still support the team as best I can. The more full the stands are when the team isn't top of the heap the more money the program earns. The more the program makes the more they can afford the items that others are holding out waiting for. Be the chicken or be the egg just be the change you are waiting for. Let's go Bulls.

We had a great time at Fan Fest. My son met and spoke to all of the offensive players while getting autographs. They were all really engaging and encouraging him. Afterwards there was a kids football camp. it was 2 hours long and was hosted by Jen Welter who is the first female coach in the NFL. She was very high energy and got the kids excited. The boys talked about how much fun it was all the way home.

My friend and I have had season tix for 5 years now. I am alumni he is not. We love the school and the teams. We are not a top tier team but we can be one day. Just keep pushing to be better each day. I have higher hopes this season than what we had last season. I am excited to see the Bell era of our offense. If you want more attendance bring your friends. Get them excited. We buy 6 tickets each year to bring friends and family to the game. We put on a fun tailgate to add to the experience. Do what you can to make it better yourself. The rest falls in place. LETS GO BULLS.

This is interesting. However will we have the ability to print out tickets for friends? Are we not getting the season ticket holder box with swag?

Meet Vincent Van Gnome. He will be at all home games (except Wisconsin) this year. You can take a photo with him and would appreciate the tag. There are prizes (a beer, stickers etc) for those that find him but to know the prize you have to follow him on IG. See link below. Plus he is traveling so you can follow his antics. He will also be watching away games.

Man this season better hurry up and start before the natives get restless and we start attacking each other.

Partially true but also I can only speak of my reality. I can name probably 10 people that usually use one of my 6 season tickets each week that would definitely buy a ticket to a conference championship game at home. I know this because those same people buy tickets to go watch the UCF games when they are played in Orlando.
Yes I am speaking from my small bubble but that is what I have control of. It is easier than poking holes in the whole program. Worry about what you can control.
