I think it depends on what kind of tailgate experience you are looking for.

We bring our sons to a couple games a year so we like family friendly. The other games are usually just me and my boys or we have one or two we bring the wives. So like always it is a mixed bag. However our tickets are on the south end zone so that it where I park. That and I like to go to the Bulls Zone and it is better than walking around the stadium.

As far as food goes I have a grill and usually grill up the food.

  2. I know everyone is looking forward to the season. But I am just as excited for tailgating. My group spends as much if not more preparing and tailgating as we do watching the games. It is also much more social. In the stadium you might talk or engage with people around you but tailgating you walk around and meet people, run into people you know, etc. Each year we try to add to the tailgate to make it that much better. Last year it was a generator, fan and TV. This year we are bringing a trailer.

What kind of food do you guys make at tailgates? What is your go to Music? What have you found is your best lot to tailgate.

Usually the food varies. I have done burgers, brats, steaks etc.

My go to Music is typically country but we mix it up.

After moving around a lot in the first year I like Lot 7. It is grass so it is not as hot as parking in a concrete lot. It is pretty wide open, close to the stadium and the Bulls Zone.

Yes, I parked Rocky's Hideaway in Lot 7 last year. Unfortunately, I just gave it away as we have relocated. You need to pay for a second parking pass.

WE saw you several times in Lot 7 a few spots down from us. We were talking about your inflatable Rocky. Where did you get it from?

Where did you get those tall chairs?

I have seen you a few spots down from me several games last season. I wanted to know. WHERE did you get the inflatable Rocky?

I have found a trailer and will be working the next month on getting it ready for football season. Excited. I don't mind paying for the extra spot as it is part of the fun.

  5. Yeah I saw a guy giving away a trailer. I am looking to do a bigger one though. With electricity, TV, a bar etc. I figured we would need to do two spots. I typically park over in lot 7 and are usually there early enough to get one of the first couple of rows. This may or may not be ready by this football season. Gotta get the right deal on a used trailer my buddy and I can work on.

  6. Does Raymond James allow you to pull a trailer into the lots? I am thinking of buying a trailer and customizing it to a tailgate trailer with TV, Audio, Coolers etc. and before I start this project I wanted to make sure we can pull it on the lot. I have not been able to find anything on their site so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  7. Hey there ladies and Gents. I am so ready for my 2nd season being season ticket holders. I have also brought some more with me. We will be stepping up our tailgating this year. In the off season we have obtained a quiet generator, TV, antennae, a shop fan, Speakers for music/TV and a flag pole. We will be in Lot 7 all season. See you all out there. LET"S GO BULLS

Here is a video of our tailgating last season.

  8. I have season tix but I don't get parking passes as I like to be able to park next to friends who don't have season passes.

That said has anyone seen if there is a change this year to the parking? Last year we usually got in the front row of Lot 7 entering from Dale Mabry. Just want to make sure that spot is good before game day.

"You're getting 0 money down, you're gettin no payments for the rest of the year, you're gettin a flat screen TV,  and then you get to attempt a 3 point shot for tickets on a cruise to the Bahamas with me and Caroline, obut that's not it Caroline, you know what else you get? I'm giving you season tickets to the BEST team in FlAhhhhhhhrida, the USF BULLS, and you get to hang out with my man DJ, now that's what I call yuuuuuuuge, Tampa, yuuuuuuuuge."

HAHAHA. That made me laugh out loud in the office. HAHA

  10. I liked it better when it was at Ray Jay. There they would set up things to do like running through tackling dummies and catch a pass. It made it more fun to bring my son to. We have gone to the Sun Dome one and after a bit of just walking around and looking at people standing in lines to get autographs my son is ready to go home.

Funny, I happened to have that sports channel on today that starts with ESP and some idiot that I believe has a show on the SEC network (Paul something maybe) was saying that he wonders if Jimbo Fisher now wishes he had taken the LSU job.  Really? WTF is he thinking?  They lose one game and now their coach wishes he weren't there?  No SEC bias on that network.  Wow. Just WOW.

Paul Finebaum is a tool. I hated hearing his radio show on XM. If he is on I am not watching. He knows loves his SEC and nothing else.

Which side (South or North) usually has the best tailgate? Im sure it varies by lot, but just looking for some guidance on which side you would recommend parking in atmosphere wise. Also, how is the Bull Zone tailgate? I just received and email saying they will have live music for the home opener.

I have always parked in lot 4 on the north side. However the organized activity (i.e. Bulls Zone and players entering the stadium) happens on the south side. I will likely still hit lot 4. Might walk to the south side to check stuff out though.
