Does anyone know who we need to win between UAB v SMU to have Memphis be the 6 seed?

maybe the shoes are a clue???

with the so called soft OOC schedule we still lost to the bad teams and beat the better ones.  This team wasn't prepared for success early

This is my offer if I had it to offer....up the contract to 2.4 million, increase the assistant pool, add an additional year for the next 3 years at the schools choice, 6 mil buyout.  150k increase a year and upgrade 500k if we get in a power conf

As bad as it may sound the CBI Chanpionship was still fun....and gave a glimmer of hope while short lived.  Still in the Top 10 seasons in USF history

we need Memphis and FAU as the 2 and 3 seed....everything else really doesn't matter.  Rice UAB and SMU Char, are the others that are less scary.  But if its in the semi's would take any of those

Dayton, ranked 25, has a 7 seed. They just lost to Loyola, whom we beat. They lost to 17-11 George Mason, who has lost to Loyola and Charlotte, both of whom we've beaten. Net rankings and Lunardi's rankings are a joke!

In this current bracketology, he has us against an unranked 18-11 and 6th seed in Wisconsin. Of those 11 losses, 7 were to unranked teams. Four of the losses came consecutively, where 3 of the teams were unranked. They include 15-14 Rutgers and 8-22 Michigan. Wisconsin is 2-7 in there last 9 games, which includes the 4-game losing streak. In addition, 2 of the other losses were to 18-12 Iowa and 16-13 Indiana.

What are you smoking Lunardi? You consider a team that has lost 7 of their last 9 games, where 4 losses came against teams with a combined record of 57-61, one of the best 24 teams in the country? You must be MAD!

I'm not here to argue at all everything you said is correct, that is the problem with using predictive metrics to select and seed teams.  The committe should be watching and viewing teams play, not go based on some numbers.  Unfortunatley someone could use your same analysis against us...if they want to use the Maine, Hofsta, and CMU games we wouldn't look that good either.  They are skewed metrics and it really needs to be improved.  Would be a crime if USF gets left out of the dance this year

If we take care of business we should move up again, doubt all the teams from 19 on down win out this week

You think one spot in the rankings is going to get more press or the ranking and the longest winning streak in the nation...I'll take the latter.  Both don't mean much...need to get in and really show what we can do
