At this point, the only thing we can ask of this team is to go to Oviedo and win to sweep that series. There is nothing of greater significance that they can accomplish.
If we can avoid Houston how about win the conf tourney

This was the team I started with in my time at USF. Its what made me fall in love with USF Basketball. We had one brief accomplishment that beat theses teams (oh so close to sweet 16). And Seth constantly left us on the bubble, but that is all in 33 years.

Give the team some credit when credit is due. Yes they lost and there are no moral victories. But if we had played almost any of the 300 div 1 teams tonight we would have won the game. LEts go and win the next 4 winnable games to get back to .500

I'm not sure there are any coaching calls. The 5 second sums it up in a nut shell. Your end of the court and the last thing that should have been said to the in bounds guy is DONT TAKE A 5 SECOND CALL
to be fair on the 5 second call Selton called timeout but the ref didn't hear him, thus resulting in the TO

I think your assesment of the team is 99% in agreement with mine. I think Chaplins FT% will trend back towards what it was last year which will help. His 3pt % I thought would be better then it is but he really does alot of the little things to help this team win as does Sam Hines. Tyler is a scorer but I still thinks he takes too many shots not that there are many options. Bryant was looking like he would be a solid contributer but since his hiatis he is an enigma. IF he can be more of a scorer this team could get dangerous. Selton is doing great in his role coming off the bench and is a solid scorer. He needs to work on going to his left as teams will shut down that 6 ft runner going to the right. Cory is the ultimate in Frustration so much there if he would put in the work and attitude. We need him come conference play. I love Conwell, he can be special is he continues to develop. He is slumping the last few weeks but could be very important come Feb and March. Russ is a solid double double with great hedge on the defensive end. I have high hope for the rest of the year. I actually thought we would have been (and should be) closer to 10-3 right now

Here’s the difference - over the first six games we shot 27% from 3-point range. Over the past six games we’re shooting 38%. Scored 70+ just once in the first six and have scored 70+ in four of the past six. Not that complicated, really. Put the ball in the basket and you have a chance to win.
Tyler Harris 3 pt shooting opens up the floor for more open shots and space for the other players. When he was in a slump everything compounded itself. He still takes a lot of bad shots, but we role as he does. Hope we can get to the middle of the AAC. Outside shot at NIT but still to early for that wishfull thinking

Hofstra looks like the best team we’ve played this season. We’re playing very well, but they just keep making shot after shot.
Auburn and UAB were better then Hofsta

Going .500 in conference isn't such a stretch. The conference is very weak outside the top 2 teams and all have bad losses to lower level conferences. Just wish we would have won a few of those close games early. Still have a small outside shot at postseason play.

looks like the worked on the 3 pt shooting
