How many days until 2017?

They need to play every team like it is FSU and not mail it in.

Our fan base is on blast/on notice. That FSU / USF percentage at Ray Jay was not cool. I understand the apathy based on what we have seen over the last few years, but at least show up to the FSU game.

My thoughts and prayers are with the woman he attacked. If there is any validity to the initial police report, he has no business as a student at USF much less a scholarshipped athlete. Bravo to athletics for acting quickly.

Interesting... Has USF ever kick out a student due to allegations or convictions?

I give props to all the season ticket holders that stuck this one out and showed up in force at the tailgate (great tailgates all around the stadium) and showed up with their lungs.

Some of us aren't sell outs. Also, what's the point of getting season tickets if you are going to skip the biggest hyped game of the season? Let's see the turnout for The Cuse and maybe I'll stop poo pooing our fan base.

Maybe Skip is Dr. Phil's long lost twin, or maybe Kyle Gass from Tenacious D.

Theoritically, all teams are always a "work in progress". However, needing to actually state that is nothing more than an excuse. One of many from this staff.

Maybe I've missed it, because I don't catch a lot of his addresses to the press, but has Skip or staff in any way ever just made the statement, its "our fault", or "we just need to coach better"? I know I've seen many coaches do this. Its actually the sign of a good leader. Take the blame off the players, and put the heat on yourself. Have they ever done this?

Yeah he says that a lot. We need to coach 'em better! Yada yada. Then they do the same stuff in the next game.

Most of the season ticket holders near us sold out. Too many Noles fans. PLUS they were louder than us. We were 13 points down in the 3rd quarter, and there were very few Bulls fans cheering on the D. Drives me nuts.

Some guys around me tried to sell too. I just see a general lack of passion for the team from the old school season ticket holders anymore. It's kind of a bummer that we are resigned to mediocrity.

I can't listen to that guy anymore.

I didn't sell mine and I stayed until the last mercy kneel down. Embarrassing turnout in my opinion, but those of us that were there were loud.

Our fans have been generally apathetic over the last couple years. I love seeing things boiling over and people caring about the current decline. I realize that unfortunately a contract was just extended to 2017, but can we make the seat as hot as possible?

Well, I am fired up for the game. I just hope we can hang in there and make a good showing... Anything can happen in football.. Maybe we get some turnovers early and the crowd gets jacked up.

I don't think of it as newer fans being spoiled, it's more the gradual and noticed decline over the last few years that is disappointing. You have to set big goals or you will never achieve them. Demand greatness!

I like the Butch Davis mention. I am sure we can get some equivalent blondes for Petrino. He would leave before our first bowl game though.

He's human. Almost every qb play bad at least one series. Our defense almost play bad in every series.

I am worried about the defense for sure... Hoping FSU is spent from the game tonight and we can keep the game close for 3 quarters.

We need to burn this thing down and rebuild. Oh and a stadium.

I am all in for firing, but we are at a low point with no conference to hitch our wagon onto. Who could we get to coach this slow decline?

You forgot no running back threat. That makes us kind of one dimensional... The biggest things that stand out to me is that our defense can't pressure the QB at all so they just stand there wait for someone to get open on 3rd down. No RB threat, but the O line looks pretty terrible too so not sure what the fix is there.

Why don't we use TE Shields?
