Apart from the fumbles (a big part, I know), Floyd looked pretty solid in the spring game. I think/thought Floyd had the edge over Bobby. I think White redshirts this year. Bench is a real wild card- it'll be interesting to see how camp plays out.

Southy and bw and everybody else is correct. We were interested, and then we weren't. Skippy stopped when he found out.... Total BS...

You are seeing this more and more though. Look at Johnny Football. His parents came out in the media and basically said he is a loose cannon, and a lot of that was before his heisman season. The field general of any team is the QB- I dont care if Barry Sanders is your running back or Calvin Johnson is your WR. The QB has to be the leader as well as mentally strong. Many of the kids aren't grown up at 17, but they may not have grown up at 21 either. The arm on the shoulder is just as important as the head on the shoulders for the QB I want playing for USF.

Yea- I'm not sure about Ft. Myers, but I get 987 in Lakewood Ranch.

I think Pierre has a chance to be the featured back by the end of the year. Much more impressive then Shaw during the Spring Game.

Our main issues were BJ and Holtz?! Our defense was gashed game after game after game. Look, I'm far from the biggest BJ fan, but how many times in the past two seasons did he put us in the lead late, only to watch our prevent defense **** the bed!?

Good lord. He messed up. Let's not pretend like he did nothing wrong, but let's not act like he is going to be on the next 'most wanted list'. He did something stupid as a kid and got caught. If he's a Bull, then he gets a clean slate in my mind.

He has great size and may be a perfect fit for our system. I'm curious as to how legit the LSU offer really is. He is pretty high on Willies list tho, so in Willie I trust...

A couple of thoughts... Looking at that roster, there is an awful lot of talent on that team. How that translates is anybody's guess. I thought Carlton already graduated? And I think Turner will start at FB.

I think if he does end up transferring, the WKU RB is #1. Otherwise I like Shaw and Battles.

He won't see the field as a QB at UCLA. I think he will transfer before he ends up playing TE. On a lighter note, I think it would be hillarious if Trip locked this thread if and when it gets to page 199 lol.

The problem isn't the talent- I agree, he is very good. I think it is the academic side that he has a problem with.
