we're at 14. Now we just wait on the last 10 or so.

Didn't Miami state they were never going to play us again when our series ended a few years back? They kinda said the same stuff about us that we said about UCiF in 07 if I remember right.
You are correct. Both the Canes and Gators have stated they will not play us again.

What is there to turn around? We went 11-2, not 2-11.
11-2 is unacceptable! We need to achieve greater things. We need to win the SEC title!

Too bad Willie and Woodie won't get to coach Dingle.

How could that possible leak out during the meetings? I would need a source to believe it.
When I worked for event services at USF, I got to be a fly on the wall at many conferences. Nobody suspects the food service people.

Willie has turned into our biggest enemy overnight...

In S.C., they are talking about selling out the stadium in B-ham on the radio. They have a giant fanbase that travels well and they are excited to be back in a bowl even if they are not excited about the opponent. Need to represent.

The AAC on the field competes at a level very close to the P5 and by some metrics better than the Big 12, but the problem is that we receive G5 money and less respect. This makes us the perfect poaching ground for coaches and leaves our programs in a constant state of turmoil. Sure, other G6 conferences get raided occasionally when their coaches are successful, but this is getting ridiculous with the AAC. As a conference, we lose our top coaches every year including the 3 best coaches in conference this year. Aresco needs to get us that better TV deal stat or this conference is not sustainable. The fact that our coaches are in such demand constantly should be indicative of the quality of programs we have and we need to get paid accordingly.

We are in a bad situation...we will be losing our best recruits with signing day around the corner.

We are USF fans...we cannot have nice things.

Yeah, I think we lose that game without a coach.

On the bright side... 1. If Oregon made a hard push for Ruhle, maybe they aren't interested in CWT... 2. If they made a hard push for Ruhle, maybe CWT isn't going to be so interested in being second choice.
Wishful thinking...if they call, "He GONE!" You will see a streak of light and a dust cloud. New slogan: "Bay made, gettin' paid."

We were desperate for a te in this class after a few whiffs. Hope he can gain some weight. Looks like he has good hands.

It's easy. What draws people to college football? Bragging rights and the feeling that you are a part of a community. Uf fans are competing with fsu and miami fans for bragging rights and they have a large community of fans as does fsu. Every game is big because the people in the office talk about it and fsu fans give you hell if you lose. I have never met a tulsa or tulane fan. No one cares if you win or lose that game and nobody in your office cares if you win or lose that game. Need to pick on the big boys and start some drama to get people to notice. Maybe taggart or AD can call out uf for stalling on the second game?

It doesn't appear that either Wake or BC has a win against a team over .500.
-
Both Sporting News and CBS have us in St. Pete against Wake or Boston College. A win against either would put us on the map nationally. Wake has big wins against UVA and Syracuse this year and BC beat NC State, Uconn, and Wake.

Cherry was a big hitter but that was about it. He was too slow to play against the spread attacks of the aac.

Navy is locked into Ft. Worth against Big 12. I think our fans are wanting B-Ham and we should travel well there.I don't think we travel well to Anapolis.

Ugh. I am beginning to feel that I would rather the game not be televised and have it at night. Fan/gameday experience taking a back seat to "exposure" is exactly what got us into the lackluster fan support situation we are in (obviously, among many other things). I drive up from south Florida for home games, and the nooners really kill everything from tailgating to gameday experience.
Yeah, and CBS Sports net is not going to get us much exposure anyways.

This site has us playing a 5-7 NC State in st. Pete. Would be our 3rd bowl meeting against them I believe. http://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaaf/bowls/predictions

At least if we play the #5 or #6 team from the MAC in st. Pete, we have a better chance for a win. Plus it will give our fans and players a once in a lifetime chance to see st. Pete!

Would it be worth skipping Christ m as with out of state family for a football game in a baseball stadium vs. UTSA...probably not. A game against an SEC tea m ...i'll definitely consider it.

College football news has us in st. Pete against utsa because not enough acc teams available. I didn't know who utsa was so I looked it up and was greeted with a woody woodpecker head as their logo and apparently they got curb stomped by skips la tech team.

Holtz ran the power and Taggart tried the first few years...didn't work out for either coach.
