  1. ^ "Slowly purge"? Weed out the kids without a burning passion to compete/win and send them on their way asap!

The biggest thing I'm excited about regarding this recruiting class is the depth and quality of talent with are bringing in for our secondary. This along with a common theme you hear or read from these kids saying that they just want to compete.

  2. Purdue commit currently. Probably saw the crystal ball projection. As for Ward, prototypical NFL height for a tackle. Sign on the dotted line Denzel, first class ticket to Hans Straub's "How to add 20lbs of functional girth camp" awaits!

  3. -- Both Willie Taggart and Wells have been impressively candid in addressing the strength level of the offensive line. "They've got to get stronger, and I hope they've had a good summer," Wells said. "They were extremely weak coming in, for what we do. Extremely weak. They've approached it really hard from what we saw in the weight room in spring and winter. Hopefully they'll continue to do that, and if they can get that going where we need to go, I think we have good quality depth there."

I can't find the link but I could have sworn that one of our coaches came out and said true freshman Dominique Threatt was the strongest player on our team. A true freshman people!!!!! Our offense as we all know begins and ends with the O-Line. Anyone who has watched Stanford play this year knows their bread and butter is running off the right side with a pulling guard. Looks familiar? We run the same play except we gain 1-3 yards a pop compared to 4-7.

Hans Straub with his off season strength and conditioning program is the single most important aspect of turning this program around.

  4. Gotta feel good about the qb position going forward though. Be great to get a win against UCiF.

It definitely gives hope going into this game. I'm bringing 4 and was thinking it would be an @ss whipping. We definitely have a shot now as White and this team continue to progress.

  5. Are there stipulations on where they get those meals?

Doesn't seem to be and the video says that Bielema capped the meals at $100 per and the Pete Carroll back at USC would spend tons only to have the school eventually cap it at $75 per.

The report also mentions Arkansas doing a great job at rallying the fan base at some place called the catfish hole and fans cheer on recruits. With that said, is there something like this going on for USF that we don't know about? With Dalvin Cook coming in on an official, one would think the coaches would want to take him to a restaurant conveniently packed with Bull fans.

  6. Great food for thought but if you were USF's recruiting coordinator, what 6 meals would you treat our recruits to that best portray what the bay area has to offer and in turn leaves a lasting impression?

"Per NCAA rules, recruits are allowed to have six meals, plus snacks, during the 48-hour period they're on campus and the meals must be comparable to those provided to student-athletes during the academic year."

  7. The kid is legit... BJ 2.0. Great feet and hips. Some of those plays were straight nasty. Huge get if he sticks and has the intelligence to learn Taggart's system.

I have to echo the same sentiments. What is impressive is about Quinton is his ability to constantly keep is eyes down field regardless of how much pressure he faces in and out of the pocket. Pair that with the fact that he is gunning it 50 yards down field off of one foot makes me confidently say that he is better then Eveld right now.
