I'm still looking at going to game but unsure since I'd be going solo from Houston and unsure if I'd fly to Chicago or Detroit. Then taking a bus or whatever needed to get to EL. My friend who graduated from MSU lives in Chicago but still unsure if he can go because of his unique work schedule

Look in to flying in to Flint. We got a great deal on the flights and a car.

    what airlines you suggest?

Southwest directly in to Flint, or check Chicago/Detroit- then take MegaBus to East Lansing (there's a stop there and the tickets are usually a couple bucks).

  3. Have pretty much finalized plans to make a full week of it spreading the USF gospel throughout Michigan and culminating in the game.   Now I just need to find out where the Friday night pre-game gatherings are going to be. The officially authorized events may be yet to come but anybody developing other ideas?

We were talking about maybe starting an unofficial meetup at the 'Peanut Barrel'.

If we get more interest, I can contact the bar to see if we can set something up.

TAMPA — Crumb & Cork encourages lingering, wine sipping and cheese sampling, all while listening to jazz in a former bank building on the corner of Franklin and Madison streets.

Wine enthusiast Joshua Pillock calls his new lounge, a "Bull business," a nod to the mascot of his alma mater, the University of South Florida, and the potential of downtown Tampa.

"I think 2013 is the year for emerging culinary concepts that are bringing something new and different to the Tampa market," said Pillock, who is partnering with New York transplant Joseph Saine.

Set to open the first week of July, Crumb & Cork will offer more than 100 wine selections, many featured by the glass starting at $5. Lunch and dinner menus offer artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, sandwiches and salads. Happy hour specials run 4 to 6 p.m. daily. Live jazz shows are planned for weekends, topped off with Sunday jazz brunches.

Crumb & Cork, 501 N Franklin St., two blocks south of the Tampa Theatre, will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; until midnight Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Visit crumbandcork-usa.com.

  5. Getting next to Chipotle is a much better move in my opinion.

Fowler is so oversaturated with strip malls as it is, so visibility from the road is a moot point.  His store is basically a destination trip at this point in the old location.

Now with the amount of college students that visit Chipolte he will hopefully get more walk-in traffic.

Very true. I visit that plaza all the time- Chipotle, book store, froyo store, scrubs store, Little Greek, and now Bulls Outfitter. That parking lot is always packed.

We'll be on that Friday 1030a Flight to Flint also. That was a great deal on airfare and rental car.

Southwest is pretty fun, maybe they'll let us play the fight song...

Pretty sure a group of us sang in on the flight back from Notre Dame.

We flew on a big 777 on the way back (Chicago to Miami). I wish we could have had a couple hundred people singing. One day...

  7. Loving all of this chatter. Pumped about this game and Bulls fans coming together! Never see any Bulls here in MI, so this will be a treat for me

It sounds like there will be a lot of people on our flight up (Friday morning, nonstop to Flint). I love when the plane has a lot of green on it. It was like that when we flew to El Paso.

  8. Sweet! Me + 8 headed over, flights booked, basements for crashing arranged. Now turning attention to helping with the planning for the Bulls Outfitter tailgate, hittin up friends at State to get a tailgate spot on lockdown

Let us know about the tailgate. We'll be there!
