This would be great news. Who cares if he lost his last game. He wins waaaaay more than we do.

Because he had his Quinton Flowers.  Take that away and he gets blown out.

Coastal Carolina won because of Grayson McCall.  We won in 2016/17 because of Quinton Flowers.

Once these one of a kind talents are gone, it's unbelievable, teams don't win as much.

Man, I thought they were going to 64-12 us and we wound up almost beating them.  I come on here and everyone is pissed.  Did you all really expect to win when the game started?

The team and coaches kept it close and we weren't embarrassed.  I'll take it and look forward.  Thanks, seniors!

Loser's mentality.  All that matters is wins at this level.  We are sick and tired of "almosts" and "kept it closes".

USF and DDP had a chance to go for the kill shot and declined to do so.  UCF deserved to win.  They went for the kill and got it.

I don't see a rebuild.... Add in a few players and good coaching.... We can be back in a bowl game next year

    Yeah right.

USF will always screw it up.  Until you see otherwise, something will be screwed up.

I don't believe USF is any closer to turning any corners, despite tonight.s game.

I am expecting all of USF's best players to transfer out.

  4. Daniel Da Prato has no balls.

Daniel Da Prato had a chance to go down as a legend at USF.

Daniel Da Prato clammed up and cost USF's players a chance at a win that they had fought so hard for.

Daniel Da Prato cost himself any small chance he had to be named the permanent coach.

Daniel Da Prato had a chance to go for the jugular and wimped out.

    Convince me otherwise.

    USF will always be USF.

I don't think he was ever coming here we were used to drive up his value and demand. Next man up Leavitt or Chadwell.

Chadwell's Coastal Carolina are getting absolutely destroyed by James Madison, a team that was in FCS last year.

Coastal is terrible without their QB, Grayson McCall, who is out with an injury.  I am watching their game right now and they are not good without their QB.

Chadwell rode a hot QB the past 3 years to a good record, nothing more.

  6. As good as Brown was against a bad Tulsa team with a bad defense, I still think Bohanon is better.  Bohanon was really coming into his own when he got hurt.  after starting out the year with 6 INT's, he had thrown 6 straight TD's with no int's and was running the ball extremely effectively.  He's just an absolute load to bring down.

Brown played against Tulsa.  Bohanon had played against BYU, Cincinnati, and Florida.  Cool the jets on Brown until more is seen.  He may be great, but it's too early.

It is not easy going into a hostile environment on the road in conference and coming away victorious.  The team played hard, has grit and overcame multiple obstacles but came up short.  I feel we are on the right path and just need to stay the course, we are on the precipitous of greatness, just short a player or two on D.  Keep the faith my fellow Texan, we still have hoops to cheer for in the meantime.

I'm trying.  It's very hard right now.  But I am trying.

I guess if it ever is turned around it would be sweet, as much as this program has been through.

  8. I don't care who USF hires and that's the honest truth.  I don't trust USF to improve and get it right, ever.  They could build a 5 billion dollar OCS and USF will still find a way to screw things up.

USF will never ever get past where they are now in football.  A lousy, good for nothing, FCS level program masquerading as an AAC team.  I don't care if they bring in Deion.  I don't.  I don't think any fortunes will be changed.  I don't think bringing in Vince Lombardi would make any difference (or whoever you think is the greatest coach of all time).

USF will always be USF.  A sad sack afterthought of a losing program.  In perpetuity.

So on a scale of 0-10 would you say your about an 8 on how likely you would be to recommend usf to a friend?

As a school to attend, probably pretty high up there.  As a football team to follow, about a zero right now.  What's the point.  My advice to any casual fan would be to find someone else to root for.  I can't stop, I am too invested after 26 years of watching USF football.  I mean I watched every game the first FCS year.

But would I recommend someone else to follow USF football.  No, I wouldn't.

  10. You know, I'm not even excited about the performances by Brown and Battie.  USF football is so down, you can't even get excited about that.  Somehow, someway, USF will find a way to screw it up.  I can't even get excited about good performances in a loss thinking good times are on the way, because I just don't believe it anymore. I don't believe in USF to get it right.  I don't believe in MK.  And I don't believe in whatever coach tries to come in here.  Don't care who it is.

I honestly don't think USF will break out of this funk.  Ever.  If it hasn't happened by now, it's not gonna happen.  Other than 2 years of QF, USF has been so bad for so long, there is nothing that leads me to believe USF well ever be anything more than a 3 or 4 win AAC team...at best.  Ever again.

So sorry, yeah Both BB's played great, but I am not excited about it at all.  Somehow, some way, everything will be screwed up again, just like the 3 gift turnovers tonight.

It's never gonna happen.  USF will always be in an AAC level conference (or worse), and will never, ever, ever turn any corners.  I don't care what flashes are shown, I don't care how excited a new coach gets, I don't care what happens.  It's over.  USF will always be what USF is.  A do nothing mid major that will never ever put it together.

How could a team in Florida sitting around all this so called talent be so bad.  Just how.  There has to be a greater systemic problem.  A blind coach should be able to stumble on enough talent to win 4 or 5 games in the AAC.  Why can't USF.  How is Tulsa, Tulane, etc. getting better players than USF.  How.  Please explain it to me.

Nothing will ever ever change.  I am accepting that once and for all.  After 26 or whatever it is of watching USF football.

No but we know Marsh isnt the answer and GB was not enough to be a difference maker for this team. So give them a chance and build for next season where they can be ready if the starter goes down.

There is a reason those guys are 3rd or 4th string QB's.  They aren't that good.  They are (probably) worse than GB and Marsh.

If they were good, the coaches would have played them.  Coaches don't hide talent, they want to win games, and will play the best available players 99 percent of the time, all things being equal.  Their salary depends on it. Coaches usually don't sit their best players.  Unless they have some type of off the field problem or injury or other issue.
