  1. To all you clowning me about this initial thread,

    F-YOU

What did I tell you about Slaton...he sure looked like the greatest RB in the country didn't he? I counted one broken tackle. If WVU actaully played an OOC schedule that amounted to a challenge, you would see them exposed. Marshall and ECU are real tough ones.

    CONGRATS BULLS

  2. 1. What was your favorite food yesterday?

    Yams

    2. How long will you eat "left-overs"?

    As long as they last

    3. Was there fruit cake on your table? (FYI: This can not go through airport screening machines - too dense.)

    No way...pumpkin and apple pie

    4. Did you have ThanxGiving in your home or elsewhere?

    Parent's home

    5. What are you most Thankful for this year? (outside of USF)

My family, girlfriend, and Larry Coker being fired.

  3. This is why I like our chances against West Virginia.

Our offense vs. their D: At the beginning of the season, I thought WVU's front line was something to be messed with. After watching both the Louisville and Pitt games I've noticed that the front 8 (they run a 3-5-5) can easily be ran on. I've never liked the idea of a 3 man rush. Their secondary was also very week against those 2 teams. Had it not been that Pitt's defense is so poor, they could've won that game.

Our D vs. their Offense: This team cannot pass when their is any inkling of pressure on Pat White. This guy has no patience, and is quick to rely on his feet. The key to their success is the scheme they run, and that their O-line is pretty **** good. Since we are used to seeing a running QB in practice, I really like our chances to not let him run 200+ yards. We need to be able to keep men up (unlike against UL), and force him to throw. The key is not giving up the big play. As for Slaton, I think he has talent, but has not developed it yet. The only yhtings I see working for him is that the scheme fits the type of runner he is and that he is EXTREMELY FAST (but guess what, so is our defense). Other than that, he has terrible vision and he can't break tackles for the life of him.

Coaches call a great game, we minimize turnovers, and special teams executes i really like our chances.

    USF 30, WVU 27

  4. Velcro,

Yeah but those players they did lose to grad were pretty good. Diaz and the other guy(cant recall his name) were good players.  I think Buffalo is not that bad of a team though. Buffalo has to be better than Jacksonville, North Florida, and those other cupcakes games that UF has played this season.  I am going to contain myself about getting excited about hoops this season because it seems to jinx the team everytime that I get my hopes up. I will still watch and root for the team, I am just not going to let it take my emotions too high like in the years past. The goal for me is to have USF make the BIG EAST tourny. Anything less than that is grounds for a new coach in my opinion.

The other guy was Robert Hite. They are a lot stringer in the front court this year, and they'll definitely make some noise this season in the ACC. Not win the conference, but they'll pull of some upsets. Their only problem is they don't have a true 2 guard. They run 2 point guards, so the outside shooting will hurt them this year.

  5. All this complaining about ESPN botching our school school and player names I have to agree sucks. But it's really bad when your home town can't even get it right. I was looking at the the description for the Jim Leavitt Show on the digital cable, and this is what it reads:

    "South Florida University football"

    GO SFU???... :-/

  6. It's like Nebraska in the 90s, you can only slow them down. Stopping them is not an option, seriously!

However, I don't think it's just the scheme, Slaton is THE best RB in college football right now. Pat White has shown the ability to throw when he has had to (See: Tommy Frazier) and while the WRs aren't great, they get it done.

Salton the best RB in the country? He's top 5, but not the best. I'd put both Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice ahead of him. Slaton is so productive because of the scheme and that he is EXTREMELY FAST. Other than that, his vision is terrible and he can't break tackles for $hit. Our defense will hold them to their lowest offensive production this year. COUNT IT.

  7. 1. Do you BULLieve USF "can" win 2morrow ?

    Anyone can beat anyone

    2. Where will you watch the game ?

Some bar probably (unless there is a way to get the game through Brighthouse)

    3. What will be the deciding goup in our victory; Offense, Defense or Special Teams ?

    Offense

    4. At 7-3, are we at what you expected before the season?

    Pretty much right on que.

    5. Do you even like Papa John's Pizza ?

Had it last night. If I get delivery it's what I order. Other than that it's all about Westshore
