k squire, how do you explain the Miami loss to FSU?  They didn't run the ball up the middle against the U, and Weatherford certainly can't run himself.  The U is overrated this year, and the L will beat them this weekend.

Simple. They didn't get a warm-up game as most other 1-A teams do for the first game of the season. Miami was still finding the kinks in their offense, and waiting for the return of their starting running back. After posting 330+ yards just rushing last week, the Canes are now in a groove.

You say it like FSU is a crappy team...I would say you can argue that the #1A and #1B defenses in the nation are Miami's and FSU's. Louisville on the other hand has no defense, and the Miami playmakers will be able to make those big plays against their suspect D. FSU's offense will be the number 1 O in the ACC this year, mark my words. Miami did a hell of a job shutting them down.

Prediction: THE U 31, Luhlville 21

The reason Da U will win this game is because they're only weakness, historically, on defense is the other team running up the middle and running QBs. They are too fast for someone to bounce out side on them, and Brohm definitely isn't running anywhere. They have a shut down secondary, and without Bush, Luhlville will be forced to pass.

In my opinion it's a funny idea at all. And as stated above we're classier than that.

Then again West Virginia is #25 in total defense and they played powerhouses Marshall and Eastern Washington...and how about Louisville ranked #21 after their victories over juggernauts Kentucky and Temple?

There was a limit, and it was one per student ID. You could buy for your friends if you had their ID or student #. I agree that 500 was a little low. Not to mention I heard that 400 of them were reserved for Greek and SG representatives.

From what I remember they DIDN'T SCORE A SINGLE POINT in the 2nd half...That one receiver just made some big 3rd down plays, but when it came to shutting it down when it mattered, the secondary stepped up.

I agree on the running game. I think we'll be fine when Ponton is back.

Kicking has definitely sucked. Benzer has not impressed me on FGs at all. At least he has made his XPs.

Punting is the one that scares me. he came up big on that one where we were deep in our own territory though. I was happy about that.

Coverage...wow one blown coverage all year. It happens. Miami/Florida boys aren't exactly slow.

I don't know if anyone else noticed theis, but in the 4th there was a little girl on the jumbotron holding up the Bulls sign. They kept it on there for about 20-30 seconds. Right after that we recovered the fumble then proceeded to score the touchdown.

I'm not the superstitious type, but to me she like a little guardian angel that propelled our team to that great 4th quarter performance.

Just thought I'd share.

I did feel that this morning...I was like what the hell? If so, that's pretty amazing. The closest fault lines to us is out in California.

Are they still available for purchase at the Sundome? If not, how would I go about getting them for the visitor section. Thanks in advance for any help.

In defense of H.O.T. They were playing all game. I sit in the student section, and for every great play, first down, etc. They were playing. As a matter of fact I was getting pissed because  they kept playing into the beginning if some of our own offensive drives and wouldn't shut up. One thing I notcied about USF students is that some of them aren't true football fans...STOP GETTING LOUD WHEN WE'RE ON OFFENSE, AND PICK THE $**T UP WHILE WE'RE ON D!!!

On a positive note I will say this...Ean Randoplh is absolutely electrfying. This kid has taken his punts to the house on like half of his returns this season. Too bad for the penalties, the kid looks like a Devin Hester type.

We have a team here with some QB questions...The Canes will be just fine...If we were to play them it would be like last year. Both teams have improved.

Wasn't this the whole reason he left Auburn? They wanted him to play corner, but he wanted to be a QB? Either way, I'm glad to have him here...He was a special talent at Miami Central.
