  1. At USF: We don't change lightbulbs. We aren't afraid of the dark!
  2. According to Raiders website: Young runner who has been on Raiders practice for past two seasons...Saw action in NFL Europe this Spring with Hamburg Sea Devils...Rushed for 216 yards on 57 carries with three touchdowns...Added seven receptions for 52 yards
  3. Great hit for J.R., but did you notice D'juan Green playing RB for the Raiders? A little representing on both sides of the ball!
  4. Didn't you hear about this one? The guy who was traded, Nigel Thatch, is also an actor who played Leon in the Budwiser commercials last year. Quit acting to play baseball. And is having LESS success than did Mr. Jordan. A pallet of beer may have been OVER paying.
  5. B.A. majored in Accounting, dated 6/10/1979. My sheepskin is probably older than half of you!
  6. The hell with watching, I'll be there. Since I live in the Norfolk area now, I've been hoping for a bid in this sub-region. My son may even bring the big yellow bull-hand he got in Charlotte. Keep an eye out for it!
  7. Well I ordered tix from USF and have not seen a letter yet. Not a season ticket holder either. And if I don't get a thank you I'll still make the trip when my Bulls come in to my neighborhood next October - See you in Chapel Hill!
  8. He wasn't in the intros at the beginning
  9. It took all week, but VT finally had enough. See article below from my local (Norfolk) paper. Vick's career at Tech is over FILE PHOTO By KYLE TUCKER, The Virginian-Pilot © January 6, 2006 | Last updated 4:59 PM Jan. 6 Quarterback Marcus Vick’s career at Virginia Tech ended this afternoon. The university released a statement at 4:49 p.m. saying that he has been permanently dismissed from the football program “due to a cumulative effect of legal infractions and unsportsmanlike play.†Coach Frank Beamer met with Vick and his mother, Brenda Boddie, today and informed them of the decision. “His actions are unfortunate and we wish him well in the future,†the release said. In it, Beamer added: “I’m very disappointed that this didn’t have a better ending. We wanted what’s best for this football team and Marcus. I certainly wish him the best.†A previously scheduled press conference at 11 a.m. Saturday will go on, where Beamer, athletic director Jim Weaver and Tech president Charles Steger will comment on the dismissal.
  10. I got the same message this morning. My tickets were being mailed last week according to Worltek's e-mail, but the tick office says they will be at will call at the Sun Dome until Wednesday then at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte Thursday-Friday. Move to stadium USF will call on Saturday. **** tickets will be traveling more than I am. (300 mile drive from VA)
