Mac will not be back.

USF fans should show some class, since unless Woolard is using a different report card to judge CRM, that we will be in the market for a new coach this Spring.

I'm not exactly CRM's biggest fan, but I really have a hard time celebrating a man losing his job. Don't get me wrong, I think we need a change, but let's focus on supporting the players in our remaining games and talking about the future of the program. Nobody wanted to be successful more than CRM so let's not rub salt in the wound.

The young kids have bought into Mac's plans, and it is bearing fruit through improvement over last year.  Mac stays. The Mac-haters will once again be posting incessant garbage throughout the offseason, just like last year.

Supporting the team and the players is one thing, but one could argue that to not speak up about the death spiral we seem to be mired in is worse because it is a sign of apathy toward the school, the program and the players.

This is one of the fallacies that I have seen repeatedly on this board.  Reality is that the AD has publicly stated that he has a policy of not reviewing coach performance until a season is over, therefore the incessant crying that has been going on has no propative value for a decision that isn't occurring yet.  Additionally, speaking up on a message board isn't the appropriate manner to provide input.  The AD isn't going to make a decision based on anonymous posts on a message board.  If you feel compelled to speak up about the program in a manner that you wish to be both heard and respected by the AD, then send him a letter that expresses dissatisfaction in a cordial, professional, and respectful manner.  ******** on this message board isn't doing anything but spreading negativity, it has no other value whatsoever.

if you don't like it then don't read the message board, not everyone is going to agree with everything you believe, that is the point of a message board

Ari I agree with most of the stuff you say, i think mccullum will be fired, but is it necessary to have the same stuff written over and over again. Most of the people on here know his record. You're not going to change the minds of people who think he should stay.

hopefully woolard will do the right thing and fire mac. i do believe it is time to move on because this team is going no where with the current staff

the team hasnt made the ncaa tourney in almost nearly 2 decades, how patient should we be? sorry that we actually care enough about basketball that we want to win and not be so nonschalant when we lose. you never bring anything to a conversation about basketball except trying to make fun of other peoples opinions

One of the ugliest halves I've ever watched.  Do you know how hard it is to be down by more points than you actually score?  How does this happen after the biggest win ever?  Howard and Bozeman are clearly shaken.  Brutal.

agreed. howard is definitely shaken, he is completely irresponsible with ball turning it over left and right, he hasnt even attempted a shot unless you want to count that pathetic layup attempt when he drove to the hoop and threw the ball in the air

chris howard is a turnover waiting to happen. this looks like the usf team of about 3 weeks ago. Mac looks like he wants to choke someone and i dont blame him. gransberry can't even make a layup. time to watch american idol

Exactly, it'll take winning to get respect.  You can't honestly say our bball team has earned anyone's respect for a good while.  Shoot, our only NBA player is Chucky Atkins right?  So not like we're getting much pub out there which only comes from doing something big or having a phenom on the court which brings the national attention.  First things first, they need to be able to consistently go at least .500 in BE play to have any shot of making the NCAAs.  Once you're in there a few times, people begin to take you seriously.
