  1. Not much fun leading the conference in FT percentage either. Better get on Coach about 3 ball percentage too. 2nd in the conference and #12 in the country is not going to cut it for this crowd!!

Shows what a little discipline can do for a team.

  2. I donate $2k and I'm still not able to sit in the lower bowl. I asked about moving down as my donation increased this year but they said there was no availabilty. I wish there was a way that donors could get access to these unused tickets. Possibly take a list of donors who would like to trade for these seats (rank them according to donation level) and match them with donors who don't plan on attending the game.  It's not real fair for those of us who make a decent donation, attend 80% of the games, and can't get a decent seat because someone donates much less, has been a donor longer and never attends a game. If they don't come why do the care where the seat is located?

  3. I think, with as much money as these kids bring in for their schools, that the schools should pay them a stipend of $60 a week for every kid they need to support. That would include the responsible fathers like K Verpale. I'm sure he and his wife could have used the extra money while he sacrificed working a full time job in order to play football. NY Times said we had like 60 kids between the football players. That would be like $187,000 a year. A drop in the bucket for what they bring in. That would be the humanitarian thing to do rather than using their services for free and making millions on it all while they are unable to work and help support their kids.

  4. I'm sure there are plenty of student-athletes with kids in the same situation. How could they afford to pay support when going to school full time and competing in athletics(no time left to work). The state or federal government needs to step in and loan people (athletes or not) support payments while going to college. Something similar to a student loan. They need to be going to school full time and 6 months after they graduate or stop going to school then they have to start paying back the loans. They are trying to improve their situation by going to school in the first place (at least they should be). They should earn more money in the future with a college degree and should be able to provide their children with a better life. I bet he could make his payments if he were working at mcdonald's full time but where would that get him or his kids in the future.
