he is awfully quiet
if he isnt leaving he is allowing the school to believe he is fielding offers
from who? There are no jobs open that he has any chance at.

@John Lewis does USF basketball offer flex packages on tickets? I can’t commit to going to all of the home games, but I would like to go to a handful of games.
I think the GA Season Tixs are $99. Honestly, the games I do not go to I typically have no issue reselling.

Is CY "gone" or can he look around and then come back?
He gone. We broke.

I'll see if we still have any.
They were available for pick up at the YC in December and January.
I saw the tables and saw people getting them, thought maybe they were for the Club Season Ticket holders. I should have reached out to Scott. Oh well.

There were whiskey and wine glasses that were provided to both MBB and WBB season ticket members this past season.
I don't recall getting an email about that. Is it too late to claim them?

I don't think the kid is eating Chipotle on your dollar, but I get your point and it is valid. I know a lot of fans are frustrated that players want more, more, more when they didn't have the same opportunities. Student/Athletes should be grateful for everything they get. Whether we like NIL or not, it's the current model and we can embrace it or complain.
For me personally, I have grown to hate professional sports. I don't even enjoy watching it anymore. I like USF because I feel like the joy to play is pure. I look forward to showing up and cheering on the guys who put on that uniform and dive on the floor. Win or lose, I can respect that. Or you can pay Ben Simmons 200M to sit out because his feelings were hurt.
College Sports is noe professional sports lite

Dam!! what do we do now boys?? There is some ballers in the portal can CAAR pull one out from there or get Knox some how? If coach is staying here let’s see what he can do.
Does Memphis have a lot NIL money? because they get good players all the time. They basically have the 2 top scores in the AAC on the same team and our 2 best players are leaving????I’m not sure how we can’t get some money to pay someone to come here, that’s how it works now days. Let’s start a NIL gofundme or something.
Join Fowler Ave and set up a monthly donation. Enough ppl do that and we can pay.

You will if it is built through your alumni base ... which is where we should be building a "fan base"
Problem is many of our alumni are fans of teams in the big leagues, it will always be like that until we get out of the minors.
Thanks Judy

If we cant even compete with the NIL dollars in basketball with 12 players on a roster how will we ever compete in Football.
we are a farm team, if we run into a great asset he will be gone within a year or 2.
College Sports are pro sports light now.

Maybe @Triple B was right. Glad we didnt give an extension. Will be interesting to see what happens next year. Will we build on last year, or will it be the CBI championship all over again.

I mean I’m wondering who UK will get. There will be an opening at UConn if Dan Hurley is hired away by UK.
CAAR is not getting either the UCONN or UK job.

This is life in minor leagues, unfortunately. After how well both Chris and Selton played, those guys are going to get more $ from bigger programs. It sucks!
This is truth

MK will have to pull another rabbit out of the hat if CAAR is heading out. I trust MK to be able to keep the momentum going as long as USF doesn’t make him use a hiring search firm lol. The good news is that many other coaches & players saw that winning can be done at USF
Not sure what opening he would be going to?
Surely not UK. What other jobs are even open?

Well basketball was fun for a season. Ugh.
-
Well this is a surprise

We will now see how in play USF ever was. Out of his final 4, 2 have had coaching changes and only 1 university is left.
If he goes to Arkansas that makes sence. If he ends up anywhere besides USF or Arkansas we will see if USF was really a finalist afterall. If you believe we were there are only 2 logical landing spots. USF or Arkansas.
He goes anywhere else and the USF talk was just a fairytale.

Speaking of who decided Miguel's fate, if both coach and player love each other to death, and player got lots of playing time, why did player leave?
maybe a starting gig over being 6th man? Maybe a higher profile school and tougher competition? Maybe Cash money.

prediction- He goes to Arkansas or some school that was not on his "final" list. Don't think we see him at either Louisville who is rebuilding or USF (AAC). He wants to be a one and done, he will be at a big time school looking to win next year and showcase his talent.

I agree. The problem is, at some point you can't insure every player's move by giving them a fallback. That is not elite.
Agreed. Rule should be you enter the portal and your USF career is over.
Have to make it known no player is bigger than the team.

He would fit right in Miguel’s spot, but he will probably follow Cal.
If Karter Knox came here he would be a starter on day 1.
