That was a very nice win by our Bulls. Now don't blow it against Bethune Cookman on Saturday. Imagine if we beat UConn and/or Pittsburgh in our first two Big East games!

I was listening to the Hank Goldberg radio show on WQAM (Miami) around 6:30 tonight. A caller said to Hank," The next coach of the Miami Dolphins will be Jim Leavitt, the coach of South Florida."  He continued, " A South Florida graduaute is about to buy the Dolphins from Wayne Huzienga. He will then hire Leavitt to coach the Dolphins." Of course, he did not name who would buy the Dolphins. Hank Goldberg replied, "I know Jim Leavitt. He is a very good college coach. He is not leaving South Florida. You're nuts!" The next two callers also said the guy was nuts.

Here's hoping our 2007 team is even a better team!

You're right, Steve. With the 9-4 record and the bowl victory, I expect USF to have an excellent recruiting class.

Hiring Prado does not make my toes tingle. His record at Louisville was not at all impressive. We shall see if this was a good hire by Woolard.

I looked at the Athlon Magazine college football preview edition today at my local Barnes and Noble. Near the back of the magazine are photos of several cheerleaders. They have a nice profile of a South Florida cheerleader. However, our alma mater is called "South Florida University." UNBELIEVABLE!!! A national publication should know our university's correct name.

It sure will be neat, for you Steve, seeing the green and gold in person. I wish I got ESPNU. GO BULLS!!!

Wish I could be with you Steve rooting on the Softbulls and recalling our days with Chip Connors Basketbulls. Is that USF jacket from our days with the team in the 70's?

As Steve Mazza will attest, Steve Stanford, 6" 11" was without a doubt the best USF basketbull center ever. I'm just kidding. He was our version of a poor Shawn Bradley. Steve stanford played in the mid 70's.

Sidney Green (two years ago the head coach at FAU) just lost his job as an assistant at Indiana when Mike Davis resigned. Hopefully, he will be considered as a replacement for Julius Allen.

There is no excuse for South Florida to be swept by the Bearcats. Unless we make it to Omaha in June, Cardieri should finally be fired.

I teach with several UF alumni at my school. If the Gators win tomorrow night I will not hear the end of their obnoxious celebrating. GO UCLA BRUINS!

I have two BA degrees from USF-BA in sociology 1974 and a BA in special education in 1976. I believe the USF College of Education produces more teachers in Florida than any other Florida university.

College-USF since the day I began as a freshman from  New Rochelle, NY in 1969. I root against all the other Florida teams.

When I started a USF in 1969 (yes, I'm an old fart) we had a men's swimming team and a women's swimming team. I believe we were pretty good too. I don't know why the teams were dropped.

That's a fuuny one, Steve. As much as we need Huggins, Mac will be back.
