I have to give a lot of credit to Anthony for taking the ball and running with it. He's doing a great job with this event and i know he will be rewarded in attendence of students and fans as well as the exposure for USF in the community. I even heard a rumor that coach Leavitt is excited about this as well. YES LEAVITT IS EXCITED!!!

I just drove home to Boca Raton today to my parents place and sitting on the table was this article circled. They couldn't believe it. They have been sending e-mails and letters to the sun down here to start including USF in their coverage and it might be working.

Hopefully they can keep it up.

I think it's a great oppertunity for him in KC. He will get plenty of PT, the fans (the ones who show up) are great there and the stadium is awesome. Look at all the talent that has come out of KC in the past 10 years. Beltran, Damon and company. This is his time to shine!

I can't go.

My grandmother turned 80 this past May. She has lived in Florida for almost 40 years and has never been to Disney. So we have been planning since then to take her. Unlucky for me that we choose the 22nd and 23rd to go. I'm so mad about that.

Does anybody know if there are efforts in place to bring a bunch of students to the game?  I'd really like to see a big, concerted effort to make sure we get a large group of fans to the game.  It could pay off big later on (future season ticket holders, plus demonstrate to the bowls that we will indeed travel)...

There are plans to send up 500 students with tickets as well as SBC Bus trips ... things will be finalized once the bid is accepted

If we play ECU, we better not look past them, my boy James Pickney from high school is their QB and he's pretty **** good. He has wheels and a cannon of an arm.  Should be interesting. Just remember they beat a team that beat us just a year ago. I know NC st. isn't the same as last year, but they are still NC St.

This was from a game a while ago, i love the intensity Mo Jo has, even after the game.

Kawika looks like he is in great shape and he loves it in KC. He says the fans are awesome. He is like a rock star there. When he was in the stands, there were people lined up to meet him and get his autograph and he signed every single one. He even taught a bunch of little Kansas fans how to throw up the bull horns.

Knowing the Oracle very well, i know they would not just not run an ad in which SG paid to run.  A lot of groups don't like the oracle and the oracle my not like student government, who knows! but they sure do like money!

try again with another excuse.

1)  SG hasn't gotten any one to the game.  They sold them tickets but let's see who shows up.

2)  If the Oracle didn't run ads, then who was the person in charge for SG in advertising.

3)  If the word was out up to three weeks ago, why didn't anyone on here know about the system and why didn't anyone associated with athletics even know what you were up to.

4)  SG represents all students, not just student organizations.  Perhaps they need a refresher course in what government is suppose to be about and stop paying attention to how the politicians in Washington act.

5)  If tickets were to go on sale Monday and you put an ad in Monday's paper, most students aren't going to see the paper until it's already too late.  How about advertising in advance.  All of you rip on the athletic department for how we advertise I can't imagine the comments people like (I don't want to give names) would be making towards us right now.  Instead he's defending his kind.
