Would like to see these guys stick around; Antonio Grier, Vincent Davis, Latrell Williams, Dwayne Boyles, Mekhi LaPointe, Demetris Harris, Demontrey Jacobs, Donovan Jennings, & Brad Cecil
Man, that would be amazing to bring that entire OL back. LB is such a weak position that it would be nice to keep Grier & Boyles to help to start to build depth. Smoke Davis has been solid since his 1st game vs UMASS years ago. We have a ton of depth at WR already but you'd love to see Latrell Williams bounce back from a major injury to end his career on a high note if it's in the cards.

Is there still a 2nd part going out? Only 3 weeks left in the season now.

Wait they did not recognize Q at the game?????
Nope. It was supposed to be at the end of the 1st quarter but they instead recognized Lee Roy Selmon's family with a shot on the jumbotron & a verbal tribute by the announcer. Which was the nicest moment of the night. I have no idea why Q wasn't recognized. Maybe he no-showed?

For being the 25th anniversary homecoming I found the entire game day experience to be lackluster. Including the uniforms. What happened to the acknowledgement of Q after the 1st quarter? I've seen so many interviews this year with former players during the game but none last night.

Guessing this would be the layout ... a North/South wouldn't balance as easy.
I prefer 6 Division Games, 2 Other Division Games, 2 P5 and 2 G5 . . . No More FCS games or at least greatly reduced as we have currently.
WEST
SMU

North Texas
USTA

EAST
USF
East Carolina
Temple
FAU
UAB
Charlotte
Navy
Navy will not move to the east. One of the conditions for them joining the conference was that they stay in the west for recruiting purposes. The rumors were that they were the main driving force to adding 3 Texas schools. That, and blocking the MWC from entering TX. Plus if Navy is in the east then Wichita St would have to be too. Thats a no-go.
Look for Memphis or Tulane to be added to the east. My bet is on Memphis.

Would've liked to see LA Tech instead of UNT from the CUSA choices. Can't believe SMU ok'd UNT. Can't believe USF ok'd FAU.
ESPN screwed us again by not letting us raid the SBC. Outside of the MWC, the most exciting options were there.

Chris is 10-11 with 3 td's early in the 2nd Q. SDSU is the #2 ranked FCS team in the country.

Nathan, much like Colin, have always been schmucks.

If we lose by less than 30 to UF that will be the most impressive thing Jeff Scott has accomplished here to date. I wish that was hyperbole.

I doubt bama will cancel the series especially since they know it will be an easy win for them
And a great opportunity to recruit in FL and have their players play in a NFL stadium. Win, win, win for them.

Im watching N. Dakota St. Possible future conference mate?

I remember so many times before feeling like we had hot rock bottom as a program. The Skip years, Mcneese St, Willie's first two seasons, Strong's tenure, Scott's 1st year, Thursday night...
Sitting here today though I feel a whole new level of dejection. Completely sick to my stomach. I just want somebody to stand up and say "We/I f**ked up" the silence from Kelly, interim president Law, & Aresco has been maddening.

We should never forget. Also did I hear right today that we do not allow former players onto the sideline unless the played in the NFL. If this is true where did that come from and how insulting is that for those that laid it out for this University? What kind of culture and tradition does that build. We could use some of these past players to help pass on experience to help tell the story and grow the legacy.
Even worse, they have to CURRENTLY play in the NFL.

I just watched a video on him yesterday. Glad to see him doing well. SDSU is a very good FCS school. Hope he leads the Jackrabbits to a great year.
They are up 21-10 now
