    Clown Sighting

    I was in TN last week and the waitress at a restaurant told me there were a bunch of clown incidents where people dress up as clowns and do things like hold a large hunting knife and just stand there, or say they are going to kill you and then leave.  I expect to see some clowns shot or beaten if the practice keeps going on.   Stupid way to die.

    Check out clowns on google images, and you can see the scary way is apparently pretty popular.

    If Texas is trying to steal Herman from Houston, then Houston can forget about UT support for them as an expansion candidate.  Houston can't afford Herman and all the other spending they are doing without getting some P5 money.  If Texas can stop that from happening, then Houston is going to have to cut back and Herman will move on for more money (at least he is more likely to).

    You will be able to get into the club by going up the stands to the top of the gray (club) section.  The doors in and out of the club are located there.  As for entering the stadium, you can go into a normal entrance, which are on the corners, or the club entrance, which about the 50 yd line.  If you enter into the club, when you are headed for your seats, go down the door for section 233 (yours will be the seciton below it).

    That's not true.  I don't think the students have ever been more than 1/2 of the crowd, more like 1/3 or less.  With a USF student population of over 48,000,  I wish the student section was filled to the 12,500 or whatever capacity for every game.   People have many things to do other than go to football games, and I can accept that.  I do appreciate the students who show up, however.

    I don't see any way we sell out if there are only 57k tickets gone, but I think it would have happened if it was a night game.  

     

    As for the playoffs, the conference championship games have become a round one of the playoffs.  If we and Houston both go undefeated in  the regular season (and the odds are against that happening) then the winner will probably go to the playoffs if there are no other undefeated teams.  The AAC championship  game would probably be two top ten teams.

    I sure hope it happens, but that dream could easily end this weekend.

    the older crowd probably remembers tear away jerseys that teams would use on the ball carriers so they couldn't be tackled by grabbing the jersey.  

    Not only did those lime green under shirts look sloppy hanging out like that, but why give a team any more chance to grab you than you need to?

    I hope we never bring that combo out again.

    I've been looking a little at the memphis bbs over at csnbbs.com.  We don't even know if it's true or not that they are out of contention, but I was just thinking how sad this expansion round is going to be for most all of the teams not invited.  I know for sure it would hit me hard if we were passed over, especially if we were to lose 4 from the conference including UCF (why would they do that?).

    Of course I want us to be the chosen one, but I can't help feel sorry for the fans of the teams not picked. It is true some of them (and us) can be jerks, but  If the Big 12 expands and we are one of the teams, be happy and proud, but be humble and empathetic to those left behind.  And above all,
