CFN totally on board...
American Athletic Conference
2024 Schools: Army, Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, Navy, North Texas, Rice, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, USF, UTSA
What’s New in 2024: SMU is gone to the ACC, and Army signed on to be a part of the American Athletic Conference fun.
What’s Next for 2025: HOLD THE LINE. There aren’t a whole lot of options out there for the Power Four conferences to grab. The Big Ten and SEC won’t poach any AAC schools, but the Big 12 could be lurking around Memphis and Tulane, and it’s absolute realignment malpractice that USF isn’t already in a Power Four conference …
AAC Expansion Prediction: The AAC loses USF to the Big 12, or possibly the ACC, and Memphis and Tulane are in a few discussions.
Also get ready for a few days of social media clickbait banter about trying to add Oregon State and Washington State, but that won’t go anywhere.collegefootballnews.com

HATE running the play clock down to 10. We never score.

Not elite tonight.

Attempting all these 3’s must have CARR’s blessing. Thinking they have to start falling.

Geez, who is that one announcer? He said USF is very high energy in the most low energy voice. That guy is going to put me asleep.

That's gonna kind of suck if those resales don't sell and there was a plan to distribute unsold 200 level to students if there was a demand ...
They're usually sold as these guys know what they're doing with price adjustments as we get closer.

Too lazy to look it up, but when are the more detailed renderings supposed to be released?

A USF fan rushed the court at FAU game. Here’s what happened
WWW.USFORACLE.COM
As the game clock expired during USF’s clutch victory over No. 24 FAU on Sunday, a different scenario played out on the baseline. A person was stopped by University...They made announcements and if the cop told the kid to wait, then he should have (but no need for handcuffs). Folks who waited at the other end when they were told to wait did so until FAU and the refs were off the court. They then went on the court and the cops were fine with it. I loved seeing the enthusiam, just be sensible about it.

Just wondering if there is additional overhead cost for opening the 300 level? With those few primary seats available, I don't see why not open it if it isn't appreciable.
Trying to trend up the brand means it doesn't matter what opening the 300 level costs.

And I'm still looking for 2 club/buffet tickets for SMU at a reasonable price (I know, I know). Please DM me.
GO BULLS!

Back in November, the CFP board passed a rule amendment that requires a conference to have 8 teams in order to be eligible for the conference champ autobids.
Good to know the PAC2 conference champion with a 1-0 record doesn't get an autobid!

Still a considerable amount of seats in the 200 level remain.
I count 69 tickets left in the 200 level for primary sale. Everything else is resale. Great news for USF! if they don't limit the number of student tickets at all, I guess it might be "sold out".
-
Currently there are no third level tickets for sale yet. We'll see. It also looks like anyone who bought tickets in the second level this week has turned around and placed them for resale so I think we're dealing with brokers here and not fans. Right now I'd say 8,000 by the time Sunday morning comes, but Kelly knows better than me.
GO BULLS!

I took the spread and the over at +230. Yes, I think both 5.5 and 155.5 will do it! GO BULLS!

Can’t wait to hear Jim Lighthall & Joey Johnson’s reaction on the radio while describing the UTSA gym lol. That will be very funny.
At least they have 1100 more seats than FAU!

i'll be at the game in san antonio
Plenty of great tickets left for $15. Now if the airfare from Tampa wasn't $800 round trip for tomorrow...

Maybe @John Lewis can tell us what the allotment is in the contract with Bama. I also believe OOC game contracts with public Florida universities are under open records law.

I've heard that the Bama allocation is small. Is that just internet fodder?
I kind of remember that SEC rules are for 10% capacity for the visiting SEC team. OOC games are anything they negotiate. I bet we're given 3,000-4,000 max.

Must book NOLA now!
Will SMU Game sell out too??

This is super misleading due to the size of home courts. FAU is in "good teams with few fans" while they have sold out their arena in forever. It only holds 3,000.
