  1. My expiriences have been mixed at the Bull Ring. First two times when they first opened, good food, good service, good times but a little pricey for the college crowd. Next two times, food bad, service bad, and still the same price. Last time in, food mediocre, service horrendeous,(had to go up to the bar twice from our table to get drinks, only to see our waitress sitting down "having a break", WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ABOUT 25 PEOPLE THERE!!!). Spoke to the MGR. told him of it, gave us one dinner free. I appreciated it, but said just give us a free drink as we are fellow Bulls. He said no problem and let us have 3 more drinks on the house before we left. Maybe he could make part of the restaurant a buffet. Have a big buffet table for a set price on Bulls days and have a great brunch buffet on Sundays. That will bring in the people, especially us church crowd.    Reaper

  2. I am coaching the Tampa Bay Christian Academy Rams Baseball team this year. We also played last night. Took our first loss to Bishop McLaughlin 5-3. One of my kids however took it deep for a 390 ft dinger, into the wind. What a canon shot!!! I will keep all informed. Have two prospects for Bull Ball!!!    Reaper

  3. One thing to keep in mind. If they build classrooms in the stadium, the state will be chipping in buckets of cash. That's how FSU got DC stadium built. As long as classrooms are in, it's gold. I seem to remember that the FSU cooking classes are in the stadium...no joke! Any FSU  folks please collaborate.   Reaper

  4. Well, there goes your teeth, a new addiction to moonshine, and a great double wide in your future. Oops! my mistake. That's ECU and So Miss.  ;D

Coaches, I am hoping that this move was to benefit your families with financial gain. Can't blame anyone for getting more of the monetary effect. But if it was to just jump ship, be prepared for the rath to be bestowed upon thee as you make your return to Bulls country! ;)    Reaper

PS. Good luck Rod! Going back home is always a good thing. But could you have made it an OOC team?   ::)   Reaper

  5. If I have stirred up a controversy, so be it. After Jose's diatribe against USF marketing, it hit a nerve that is so prevelant in the Tampa Bay area. We have one of the largest university's in this state. USF DOES NOT get the attention and recognition it deserves in the media, nor in the public eye. It seems that they are always ready and willing to point the finger of accusation and demise, rather that support and accolades. Mr Duemig always finds a sarcastic way to needle and jab at the negatives of USF and give a nonchelant view at their accomplishments. Albeit he is not alone in this venture as the Tampa Trib and their sports editorial staff have repeatedly shown time after time. My gripe is that in order for USF to be known and supported by it's OWN community, the local media has to support USF. This is Tampa, not Gainesville, not Tallahassee, not even Miami. If their fan bases want info on these schools, subscribe to their papers, or let the media put them second. The media controls this town with fan base. If the media promotes, the fans show up. If they don't, you can better bet the others will get the top billing. It's time for a change, it's time for a revolt. New slogan for the Tampa media... "USF or Nothing Else."    Reaper

  6. I am sick and tired of the excuses of our marketing dept. Budget cuts this, not enough money for that, wah wah wah! It's about putting butts in the seats. UConn has no problem for womens sports. Louisville has no problem with Womens sports. Even UF has no problems putting butts in seats, (albeit, it's definitely asses that fill their seats). It's how you market. TV stations, media, radio, all play a part. It's a medium not touched by our marketing dept. Why not have a free day. Let's say anyone wearing a USF shirt on gets in free for let's say...   UConn game. I will bet you that we could put A LOT of people in the seats. All it takes is a simple idea like that, advertise it, and let it run. No great science here!

  7. Yeah Rezz, everybody was always taking my parking space. That's why I was always late to work!!!  ::)  I do want my space back at the library cause I am coming back to work the summer shift!  ;) Seriously, I did not see Verdejo's hand and that IS probably the reason. But as you DO know, I do know my way around a B ball court. And in order for one to hone his skill, you must play through it along with practice. I remember T was all offense but short on D. He worked through it, practiced hard and became a good D player along with his O skills. With Verdejo's talent, Mac needs to work on this kid. With the right direction, he could shine. My prob is, is that the staff doesn't seem to want to instruct, but just move on. This is what disturbs me. And NO, I for one DO NOT want to see Mac gone mid season. Unprofessional move at best. But if attitudes don't change, the direction of the team will be going into the backwards spelling of my affectionate new name...Idiot!  [smiley=toilet_claw.gif];D   Reaper

  8. SEC   High and mighty, arrogant and ignorant. Excrement out of the rears of jackasses. Can't wait till we take it to Auburn as the start of our mighty charge to RECTALIFY the SEC. If you don't think one is as described above, just ask a Gayturd fan.

Oh also, just ask a Gayturd when the new license plate is going to come out and how long will they keep it. 20 years this time?    >:(
