  1. I was peeking at Va Tech's hoops schedule, and saw they had six games televised on ESPN, ESPN2, or ABC. Will we get any games like that this season? I know people hated Seth, but **** he got us on TV. Now that I live out of town, seeing a game on TV is icing on the cake. I wasn't including Gameplan or ESPNU... just talking about the main channels. Come on RMC... rally the troops and force ESPN to place some of our late season games on the main channels by posting a decent Big East record! Nothing is better than walking into a Scottsdale bar with your USF basketball jersey on while the game is on ESPN for everyone to see!

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you in person, and have no doubt about your love for USF sports, but, for god's sake, get off Greenie's sack. He's long gone, and, honestly, I could give to sh_ts about what he does at Va Tech.

Sit back and let this season of USF basketbull ride out. If we don't make the Big East Tourney, Mac is as good as gone. In the meantime, I'd appreciate it if you didn't bring up that used car salesman everytime you mention something that is USF b-ball related. He's gone, I'm glad he's gone and he didn't do jack while he was here.

No kidding!  Even in his best years, greeny weeny barely had us above 500 and that was against much lesser competition than the Big East.

  2. As much as it frustrates me and pains me to say, I'll have to watch the Bowl Game from a television down in Pembroke Pines on Dec. 23rd. Unfortunately, the bowl game happens to conflict with a family vacation we've had planned for a little under a year now. Last year, I wasn't even expecting to go bowling when we planned our family vacation and the Meineke Car Care Bowl came calling. This year, expecting another bowl birth, we planned our vacation to avoid any possible Big East bowls, only to inaugarate the Birmingham Bowl, which wasn't even in existence when we made our plans. Alas, watching the game is surely better than nothing, and I'll be coming back State-side precisely on Dec 23rd but without enough time to even fly to Birmingham for the game.

In that regard, to anyone caught in any similar circumstances to me that happens to be in the South Florida area, let's meet up at the Pembroke Pines Ale House on Pines Blvd. It won't be anything organized since I really don't know how many people to expect. Just show up in your Bull gear ready to cheer on USF. Once we're there, we'll grab tables, high tops or whatever else necessary to make sure everyone has room to cheer our beloved Green and Gold on. Here is the address and contact information for the Pines Ale House:

    Pines Ale House

    11795 Pines Blvd.

    Pembroke Pines, FL 33026

    (954) 438-0111 Phone

Sorry you won't be there  :'(

Next year, we'll have to play a bowl in Jan.

  3. I'm all about binge drinking, drunk chicks, and any other fun times that come with the over consumption of alcohol! Matter of fact, I'm going to pop a beer right now and try to cure my **** cold!

I'm hung over from the coach's show last night.  I wonder if a beer would help, or should I just go straght for the 151 ?

  4. to quote the late, great Chris Thomas, "Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise," I will be at the next bowl game as well.   ;)

Man I miss Chris Thomas. That was the last time that sports radio was worth a crap in this area.

My wife & I sat at the same table at a Jap Steak house with Chris Thomas.  He was there with a hot blonde half his age (way to go dude.)  After they finished eating, the blonde sat on his lap, they started making out right at our table.  Pretty f'ing funny!!

    Anyway, back on topic.....

I've been to every USF football game in the state of Florida & every bowl game.
