Wow! This one hurts. Hopefully there enough bodies left to field a team next year.

Seriously.   I think the entire roster right now has 6 players left.   I wonder what is going on behind the scenes with Antigua that is making these guys all leave.

i was wondering why so many left?

I know most of you don't have the "inside" to USF basketball, but every single of one those kids excluding Josh & Ebunu were leaving anyway.  Egbunu didn't love Stan himself & in fact quit for a few days around xmas time, it just wasn't written about………it takes 1 kid to make a basketball team go this isn't football, just relax and bullieve, it isn't hard to fix especially in a weak conference.

  2. What a train wreck. USF athletics is a complete embarrassment. I've been a diehard, bleed green & golder since 1984 - NEVER been called fair-weather - but that's officially it for me. I'll check back in around 2018 and see if anything has improved with football, men's basketball and baseball. Anthony Collins will be next and the 2014-15 Bulls won't be competitive with Hillsborough Community College.

Thats awesome!!! Of during your diehard yrs of 1984-present, how much did you contribute with your wallet, or was your contribution strictly with your mouth.  The school a few miles east would love your services…please don't come back in 2018 there won't be any space for ya.

    Whatever.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Gotta keep Eb and Perry. And AC. Otherwise?

Since Perry wanted Heath gone, I mean him leaving would be a red flag that this guy doesn't want to work hard and just wants to be a baby. He got what he wanted now let's see what he can actually do since he was apparently being held back by the last head coach.

AC could still leave but it wouldn't be the end of the world imo. There are still options at PG coming on the market. 1 has a visit scheduled here in a couple of weeks.

Perry has academic issues which hopefully get fixed over the summer, still a good chance AC could transfer because he doesn't have to sit out….He would graduate in December & be eligible to play at his new school Jan 1……Ebunu wanted out also but hopefully Coach O & him war able to hit it off……...

  4. I am a Higgy fan, BUT go look at the Athletics staff directory, Assoc AD are a dime a dozen, being an Assoc AD gives you zero credibility for being able to perform the AD job.  Higgy is probably currently the #1 choice, HOWEVER this only happened late last week, lets give it a week or so to see what other names surface.  The names being put out there now are all a Crock and not one of those guys (other than Higgins) even gets a look, the media just needs someone to write about , AND the lack of knowledge and contacts  among those that cover USF plays a factor in the names being put out there.

  5. I am getting real worried, I was in Vegas for the tournament

These were all first hand observations

    1) Night before the 1st game, they had a midnight curfew and were out & about until that time

    2) 2 hrs before the 2nd game, many of them were out In N Out Burger pounding food

**** How do either of those things happen, that is 100% on coaching

    3) During the 1st game, Musa wasn't dressed and was clowning around in each & every timeout.  He wasn't paying attention in the huddle, he was dancing and turning around and talking to his brother. He then became a cancer when he started to get other teammates involved in his antics, & they started not paying attention to the huddle.  I had a buddy who was at the game that's a scout for one of the NBA teams, he was there along with some others and they all took notice of what Musa was doing during timeouts, & couldn't believe it was tolerated.

    4) Though McLendon had a better 2nd game (mostly because of the opponent), its a huge problem that he is playing over Hawkins & Brock, either those 2 are in the dog house or there are just terrible. McLendon came from Hofstra, there is no way his talents led him there out of H.S. then all of a sudden he can start on an AAC team, something is wrong.

    5) Big John getting zero post ups during Miss St is mind boggling, grant it if you watch him he has no idea the offense or the plays (either does Hawkins) but at least he scored and played better on offense against Santa Clara.

As previously stated this goes way beyond FT shooting, and there is a big reason to be concerned

  6. I dumped my 5 club level tickets for this season including my Bulls Club donation. Once we have a new AD I will be back. While one person's voice probably won't make a difference to Doug, I refuse to subsidize his lack of leadership or vision.

The athletic department needs to get their act together and develop a narrative.

Though it wont be a reality, i hope you and everyone else who pulled that BS cant get their tickets back, You call yourself a fan, you say you have love and passion for USF BS, all you are is typical bandwagon fan who will support a team when they win. By you dropping your tickets and donation all you are doing is hurting USF, hate the coach, hate the team, hate the AD, dont ever hate the school and stop supporting it.....

  7.

I really like that we didn't get somebody from a small program or from an unknown institution (USF's not going the old $1.99 route).

This is a big step in the right direction.

    GO BULLS!

The last two people to hold that position came from Oklahoma and Texas.

I don't know the candidate pool, so I am not speaking of this position .... but I wish USF would hire from within a little more often. It seems like the best jobs go to people without any ties to USF. Lots of good people work hard and earn chances to move up, and it doesn't happen as often as it should.

Like I said, I am speaking in general and not of this position. I have no knowledge of who applied (or expressed interest) in this position.

I totally understand what you are saying, however go back through the last 10+ years, how many times has an internal candidate from USF been passed up for a promotion and then gotten a job at another big time university for that position?.........Unfortunately maybe the internal candidates as USF arent the strongest players on the field
