Stupid question OTD - I see refs at practice. Who are these officials? I wouldn't even know how to look that answer up. Are these conference officials and this is what they do when they don't have games? Are they local (HS) officials making money on the side?
I spoke with one today at a scrimmage and he indicated all refs used are college referees. USF has an officials liaison, who brings officials needed for an event from all over the central Florida area.

CAG mentioned to a group of us today that they are looking at late Summer for the groundbreaking. I forgot to ask about final renderings...

I have no filters for spam and can't find where I deleted it and it isn't in my inbox. Got an invite to a scrimmage this Saturday so not going to the Spring Game but really can't figure out what's going in with emails.
STMs can claim their tickets here:

How do we make this happen 4 real?
You start by picking an aircraft carrier that doesn't have its island on the approach or departure end of the flight deck.

This brings me back to Malique Ewin. Why did he not stay at USF? And why did he go to junior college instead of another 4-yr school? If he had a change of heart, and according to rules, the short transfer to USF was considered official, it would explain why he played at junior college. If his GPA was not high enough for USF, it could also explain why he went to junior college. So, if his reason had nothing to do with not wanting to play at USF, do we have a chance of picking him up again?
By the way, Malique won a ton of accolades this past year, including player of the year, all conference team, defensive player of the year, newcomer of the year, and more. Dude averaged 15 ppg, 9 rpg, and 3 bpg..... in 16 minutes of play per game.
Could be an issue with grades/academics.

Erik Jenkins has been a great hire by VPMK and is doing a superb job since being hired in 2019 and being promoted to Director of T&F last year.
By the way, Kayvon Webster posted this gem from the past, showing the speed of our players from the Big East days:

The OG has to teach them how it should be done.
Remember the newspapers? Not sure if they exist on campus anymore...
Also, during each opposing player introductions:

4 Get a job!
5. I could only remember 4...

Remember where Selton comes from and what the extra money would mean for his family back home. For selfish reasons, I hope he stays. However, I certainly would be happy for him if he decides to start making real money and benefit those he loves.

I think I heard on the radio post-game where CY gave his shoes to a kid.

So...do you think Selton's poor game will prompt him to come back for his last year of eligibility?

And how would one go about doing that?
Since i took him to the Tulane game my son has been following the team on his own.
I saw the loss to Tulsa then UAB & didn’t say anything cuz I didn’t want him to think that was the end after all the hype, but he texted me the scores one day while I was at work & asked me what happens next. I said “probably NIT” & explained the difference between the big tournament & the NIT.
The day we beat UCF i had no idea they even played (been busy) but my son actually told me & said “I wish we could have been there so I could laugh in their face as we crushed their dreams” The kid is 13 & is very serious about wanting to attend USF.
Anyway, I came out of pocket last minute (literally this afternoon) to take him to the VCU game.
Is there any way he can get Kasean Pryor’s autograph at some point before or after the game? I know at NBA games there are those random moments where players sign stuff for fans, does that happen here or would it be frowned upon for my son to try & get an autograph before or after the game?
Thanks. I’ll be in 106 loud & hyped for this incredible team GO BULLS
Pryor is accessible after the game and poses for pictures with about anyone who asks.

My son went to Stetson in DeLand and really did well there. For fans of "The Waterboy", many scenes were filmed there (including the fountain Sandler gazed at).

Students are in Spring Break. If we could get 1K from the student side, that would be impressive.
Students were on Spring Break last week (3/11-17).

USF has not yet "turned on" the ability to resell your tickets.
Makes sense. Some secondary are showing up on Stubhub, but nothing in the lower sections.
-
What's odd is you don't see the resale tickets. I would have thought some would have opened up at a higher price.

Can we also have the cheerleaders bring back the "stroke, stroke, stroke" cheer?

Only 1/2 mile from the YC to Zydeco Brews at MOSI.

Is there going to be a buffet in the club, as with regular season games? Need to know whether to grab a bite beforehand...

Anyone hear about any stadium updates today?

I think that the Football Operations building that attaches to the south side of the field is what you are referring to. It would make sense that since all the lockers, weight, training, and meeting rooms will be there as it would have direct access to the fields and the IPF.
