    Pj did improve from his first year to last year.I just believe that Denson,Grothe and Hill all bring better athletic and passing skills. With that said wether we open with Denson or PJ at QB vs Penn St it will be better than last year. I just dont see Grothe or Hill starting that first game when all they have under their belt is fall practice. i could see them getting playing time later in the year if PJ and Denson dont produce. Right now im more concerned about how our D will play. That first game will say a lot if we lose to Penn State with our D allowing 28-35 points then it will be another tough season. If we win or lose a close game then a Bowl is very possible. We'll know soon enough

    The thing that will hurt them is the low rpi rankings their teams will get from playing each other. Look at UL this year getting a 4rth seed and you can imagine what the CUSA champion will get next year. The key will be for them to schedule tough out of conference but the only team they have with enough clout to do that is Memphis

    Im not saying our offense doesnt need improvement or changes im just pointing out that it was our defense that hurts us more last year.Now that our offense has QB talent comming in they have no excuses if they dont improve. The fact is that we have not had great QB talent the past two yrs

    Im amazed how everyone here constantly blames the offense when the facts are that it was our defense that completely colapsed last year. Our offensive stats improved from the year before

    Bands are very important to the college games its one of the things that makes college football more fun than the NFL to me. I hope that the Herd of Thunder improves and gets the support it needs.If we are going to become a big time college player we need all the trappings that go with it, band cheerleaders etc as well as players.

    If i remember correctly the only reasons we got those highly rated recruits like Baker was because of the injury he had and many backed off.He had other problems as we found out and some of those problems were also popular among other highly rated players wearing the USF colors. With all the talent we had in those teams it was embarassing to see those late february performances or getting blown out in first round of NIT by Ball St. I rather have les talented players that will play team ball and hustle than "stars" that will whine and flop when the time gets tough because they cant or refuse to play team ball

    i guess you didnt read previous post. we DID give a scholarship to a kicker. He wont be in school till the FALL.

    I expect some that were negative towards RMC, to keep pointing out the lack of big name recruits and the loss of the srs. im very impressed with what coach does with the players he has.weve had more talented teams before but they dint play as hard or team ball. im willing to give coach Mc enough time to have ALL his players in but im sure some here wil not, i hope those nay sayers look at my post on Coach Hamilton's record at UM as he led them into BE. Year one:1-17 year two:7-11 year three:0-18 year four: 9-9 year five:8-10 year six:9-9 year seven 11-7 year eight: 15-3 year nine: 13-3 Many on this board would have had him fired after the first three years.

    it will take time but we will get there. look at UM's history in the BE they stuck to Hamilton and it paid off but early years were rough UM, Big East records: Year - Record 1- (1-17) 2-(7-11) 3-(0-18 ) 4-(9-9) 5-(8-10) 6-(9-9) 7-(11-7) 8-(15-3) 9-(13-3) Wil we be as patient?

    he has a lot of upside. his ppg as a sophomore are comparable to those of our srs during their soph years. Prek 593 min, 5.7ppg 1.1rpg sophomore years: Bryant 354 min, 7.1ppg 4.9 rbs Swift 518 min, 4.7 ppg 1.3 rpg

    BUT, the Bulls were up 9-0 after 7 innings with Hudspeth pitching. The relievers ALLOWED 7 runs and had men on third and second before closing the game 9-7 vs Quinnipiac. Sorry but thats a horrible performance vs a horrible team. I know our facilities need upgrading but Coach Cardieri needs to do much better

    Come on i could see them being surprised early in the game or even first half but if you are a top 25 team playing a team with not many players and in foul trouble you should be able to play and win. USF played a very good game anhd played hard, i dont believe Charlotte played a smart game and that guy hitting 3pointers from out in space was a bit of a ball hog in my book, yes he hit many but he also shot some that could have been better shots by other players. either way the credit goes to coach and his team for wanting the game and winning it

    that would be a shame, when the band can travel n return in same day.The cost cannot be that much. It wil make us look bad if UCF can send their band to Marshall and VTech and we cant even send them 4 hrs away

    I know many of our alumni down here that have not been to an USF football game yet, will be attending this game and hopefully we can make season tix out of some of them. I heard that right now there is no plan in bringing our band to the OB. I hope this is not the case as every florida school that has played UM at the OB has brought their band. Its important for USF to look as good in this game as it can since we will have probably our biggest chance at creating new fans in this game. Can Eric or anyonelse tell me the dept. position on the band for this game?. Is early but im trying my hardest down here to create USF excitement and want to do all possible to make it an all around great time for all.

    TCU won the CUSA title beating UL by 19 and DePaul by 10. So our ladies gave them the closest game
