BB will 100% transfer unless he has a bad year.
Agreed. That is why I am clearing my calendar this fall to catch all six home games with him at QB. I know he is gone in 2025 so I will get to enjoy seeing him play live while I can.

It’s the new world of college athletics and being stuck in the minor league AAC. Just wait until the uproar after next football season when #17 transfers. Hope Izzy Carter is ready.

And CFN's way too early bowl projections. Have us staying home against Florida.

COLLEGEFOOTBALLNEWS.COMI think 8-4 would keep Golesh around for Year 3.

I still stand by my prediction that USF will still be in the AAC when the stadium opens in 2027.

NOLA booked!
Hmmmk what are the odds that Raiders @ Saints will be the same weekend as USF @ Tulane?

I like how the home schedule is spread out with one in August, one in September, two in October and two in November
-
At least we won’t have three home games in a row in the month of September. Last season it sucked having half of our home schedule completed and it wasn’t even October 1st.
-
I hope we hear something this coming week

Not surprised at all. Does not bode well for us if he has a big year.
He should have a huge year feasting on weak AAC defenses. Hope Izzy is ready to takeover in 2025.

The AAC is minor league college football. More often than not, they will lose their bowl games against P5 teams. It is what it is.

Gotta a keep him for as long as we can.
I think we have him for 2-3 more seasons until the P5 cash comes calling.
-
If he has a monster season next year, as expected, he will be gone. Money talks. Hope Izzy Carter is ready to take over at that point.
-
Better than the 2023 home schedule. The only true turd on next year’s home schedule is Tulsa. The other games should draw around 30K with the Miami game probably around 45k or so. The Tulsa game attendance will look like this year’s Rice game.

I will be shocked if USF is still in the AAC by the time the OCS is ready. Too much is going on behind the scenes and we have been getting too many clues lately..
I will bet you $100 that we are still in the AAC when the stadium opens in 2027.

And 2027 will put us in our mid to upper 70s. So I'll repeat something I've said before. I hope to live long enough to see it.
Is our lease up at Ray Jay in 25 or 26? If 25 how much will they **** us on the rent for that extra year or do we move to Corbett?
I read that the lease can be extended at RayJay through 2027.

Nice! Yea, I'm sure those massive stadiums are crazy to attend. Was just curious as he's been to a **** ton of stadiums.
I guess we need a new poll. Who has been to the most stadiums and what's your favorite. I really haven't been to many football so I'd have to go with Bristol .
I've been to UF and wasn't impressed. I though FSU was actually nicer but i also was in good seats and not sweltering.
The tailgating in Ann Arbor was absolutely incredible, way better than any tailgate I have been to in Gainesville or Tallahassee. They do it right in Ann Arbor. Maybe in about 150 years USF can get up to that level

What is favorite?
You didn’t ask me but my personal favorite is the Big House in Ann Arbor. I have never felt the energy at a college football game like I felt at a Michigan/Iowa game in the early 2000’s. The tailgating was the best I have ever experienced as well.

It looks great! That Champions Walk looks like its going to be really nice.

And i just realized that I will be 51 when this thing finally opens. Yikes.

Losing to UAB and FAU negated any p5 interest. My friend that played oline at Houston says Herman maybe coming back to Houston.
Agreed. Imagine having to sell Golesh to your big donors at this time with those two losses on the resume and a .500 record. Right now I am still predicting that Golesh mirrors Willie Taggart and stays four seasons.
-
Golesh isn’t leaving. He hasn’t done enough to be a P5 coaching candidate at this point.
-
Money talks and the G5 is minor-league college football. I hope he stays but wouldn’t be surprised in the least if he transfers to the P5.

Byrum has a chance to make it to the league. Of course he will be getting drafted from another school if he does.
