I'm so out of touch, I guess...Who is this music act? Never heard of him but he's selling out the 10,500 seat YC. Google says he's only 31 years old and plays bluegrass music..? Is this the correct person, anyone know?

this is the correct person.  he plays jam band type music and has a cult following of a wide demographic of fans.  i worked the show last year there were a lot of people that showed up early for merch and access to the pit

Serious question...Is Corbett going to be big enough for the most anticipated Spring game in years?  If people show up in droves and get turned away, I guess that's a good problem to have except for those who couldn't get in.

probably not.. last year they had to stop letting people in and even opened up the baseball stadium and broadcast it on the scoreboard.

you had to have a ticket to enter so i don't understand how they didn't anticipate that happening.  maybe they'll cap tickets distributed this year

Excellent point...probably not a great game plan to count on two KO returns a game.

Let's not forget that to win this game, we needed TWO kick-off returns for a touchdown and a lucky fumble recovery in the fourth quarter.  Not sure any of those were in CCS's game plan.

I've thought for a while now the Tulane game was basically the GT game without kick returns and lucky fumble recoveries

As we watch these games-- and I hear people say they are tired of the nail biters-- I am sort of puzzled. The games are interesting. They can also be frustrating. One thing for sure- they are not boring. How often do you watch a game on tv (any game, not just USF) and change the channel when it is clear that one team has the game won? I know I do it all the time unless it is some team I don't like getting throttled.

Not that I want them to make games artificially interesting-- but when I see some huge play happen suddenly, it is a great feeling.

Something to consider perhaps. As fans, maybe we should just try to focus on enjoying the game more than getting overly concerned with rankings, style points, how we look, getting mad at every single mistake as they happen, and trying to be the first to tell everyone what is wrong with our team. Last time I checked, no one expected much more than a winning season this year with a mediocre bowl game to go to - which I would think was fair after how many starting players we had to replace.

I have no problem with people talking about the team dynamics but this endless mind game of perceived expectations gets tiresome. And just so we are clear-- I realize I am guilty of this at times myself.

I've enjoyed all the games this year but the ECU game.  That was just bad.
