  1. NEW IMPACT PLAYERS HAVE MADE NOTABLE PROGRESS FOR BULLS

After sitting out last season, three much-improved Bulls are putting themselves in a position to make a major impact for USF men's basketball in 2018-19.

Guards Laquincy Rideau, T.J. Lang and forward Alexis Yetna have all have made huge progress in preparation for their first season of game action in determined second-year USF head coach Brian Gregory's program.

Getting Rideau, Lang and Yetna into the mix for game action is an enormous plus for USF, which has been in the business of steady improvement since Gregory's arrival. In 2017-18, Gregory guided the Bulls to the program's first double-digit win season since 2013-14 and tripled the team's conference win total from 2016-17.

Some good news on the MBB front.

The smack talk about being .500 with UCF is also hilarious. So far the score is 3-2

    Is this serious?

Should these really be pay to play?  I want to discuss that before moving on to fix the payment method.  Make sure it's not a bod omen.

I honestly think the pick'em should be free. its not like people will be playing head to head so if some drop out it shouldn't be that big of a deal. But I don't mind paying a little if I am in the minority. If we absolutely need an awards maybe a small points awards to the weekly winners a slightly larger one for the overall? I play for fun so it doesn't matter to me.

If the final round of conference expansion happens and we are still a have not I think we should consider our options. I am hyperbolic the majority of the time but I am not being hyperbolic when I say that I think the AAC is the single worst place to be in all of sports. The P6 concept is untenable as we are trying to spend and keep up with the Joneses but forced to do so on 1/10 the income. Over developing the most expensive house in a horrible neighborhood isn’t a solid investment because at the end of the day you are what the comps say you are. If we are left out fighting for our position as the ones just on the other side of the fence is a sad and expensive place to be and I’m not sure that it’s worth it.

Sounds to me like you're better off finding a new team.

I typically say I really don’t care if we do. I want to win every game and I want to play in a New Years bowl and those things may come with an AAC Championship but I honestly do not care about that part as I think it’s value to 99.99% of the world is zero. You can just say you are an AAC championship if you like no one would know any differently or care enough to fact check you.

that's silly, winning any championship is better than not winning it.

Nor does a Lion ever doubt himself like so many in this post. A lion makes himself king of wherever he is. whether it's in the jungle (P5) or a little encasement in a zoo (AAC) and this team and fans need to have a desire to dominate whatever conference we are in.

Is anybody saying we shouldnt win the AAC
