I have no inside sources but I have heard from more than a couple Texas people say that some boosters wanted him to fail and actively worked against him at the high school level.

How could that possible leak out during the meetings? I would need a source to believe it.

It's been vacant all year. One more game won't hurt. 

I've read from multiple reporters that some Texas boosters were against Strong from the beginning and actively worked against him going as far as telling high school coaches not to send kids to him.
