  1. Barrington is the man, but one of my favorite off the field usf memories came from Godwin being interviewed. He was being interviewed at one of the weekly radio shows by Jim Louk and he was asked what his favorite musician was. He responded “Drizzy” (meaning Drake). Jim Louk responded “I have no idea who that is” and made another comment about being old. I’m going to miss him when he retires.

Wasn't Dillon the cat that followed Cash to Oregon, but Cash left Oregon before Dillon was eligible to play?

Dillon had a great game early in his USF career, but never seemed able to repeat it in a crowded TE group.

I remember he had a long TD catch against NAVY in ‘16 and had the game winning TD in the Birmingham bowl against South Carolina.

As of right now, auction #110 is going for $350 and auction #116 going for $270.

Same helmet with the primary difference being that #116 has Jeff Scott's signature on it.  However, once you click on the picture of #110, it does say signed by Jeff Scott so not quite sure if they potential bidders know this.

Anyway, It will be interesting to see what the final total of each of these are but I think its curious that bidders would rather have one without Scott's signature than with it.

I have a signed football by Skip Holtz. It matters, but fortunately I didn’t pay for it. If Scott doesn’t turn things around it would be hard to look at that in your house without thinking of that time period.

Depends on your definition of "got rolling", I suppose.  If you mean, not dreadful, then I would agree.

We averaged 37.5 points a game for the rest of the season including that game. We scored 51 points at halftime against cincy. Yeah I’d say it was moving a little bit.

I love the revisionist history.  QF wasn't very good at running the offense as a sophmore.  He could scramble and get yards, but he wasn't a real QB until at least midway through his Jr year.  There were parts of the playbook he simply could not run.  It was all WR screens and throwing deep.

Not that this is meant to be derogatory, it certainly paid off in the end.  I am just pointing out that the improvement over four or five years of college is remarkable for most athletes, especially football players.  There is a reason a new coach rarely wins in the first two years taking over a miserable program.  If QF had been behind a decent QB, he'd have sat year one and been around for an even more remarkable senior year.  At least Timmy is starting from a more advanced place from mechanics and understanding of how to run an offense.  But there will still be growing pains for a while.

I agreed with Timmy being ahead of him at this point but it was Q’s sophomore year in 2015 when he got the offense rolling against Syracuse not his junior year.
