I asked on the other board, but am I reading correctly that he's the top ranked kicker in the country and a 5 star prospect? If that is the case, would he be our first?
Mike Ford was a 5 star on rivals

Coach Golesh is 100 times better the recruiter than Coach Jeff Scott. Coach Golesh seems to have the drive and energy to be a success! Coach Scott just always seemed lazy in recruiting and each year I heard the excuse that he was bringing in a small class (for whatever reason).
Coach Golesh has hit the ground running and to get a commit from Jarvis Lee at IMG Academy is outstanding. I am amazed at how many good recruits he got to visit USF in his short time here at USF. Have we ever received a commitment from an IMG recruit?
Very impressive start to Coach Golesh's tenure here at USF!
Jayden Curry is the only one I can think of. Class of 2019.

I never said 6'1 is absolutely too short, I honestly love compact guy in the middle as the get better leverage. Getting from 260 lbs to 310 with good weight is a tough nut . Donaldson is only at 280 lbs in the NFL.He is also the exception to the rule. Also if you look at his 247 from his senior year in HS he is listed at 6"2 now NFL roster he is 6"1 Guarantee this new commit is not 6"1 as height and weight is always inflated.
You can add this guy to the exceptions too.

Coach Go pulling players out of the portal and back to USF!
And Evans is from Orlando. If he followed Grier and Timmy it wouldn’t have been too surprising, but hats off to him for finishing where he started. The portal reminds me of how the NBA changed once players wanted to start making super teams. In a lot of ways we can blame Lebron for this generation of kids who want to chase greener pastures and the excitement that comes with jumping ship. Lebron’s “decision” special on ESPN was one of the worst things to happen in sports.

I mean look at our schedule. Any program in the country can have a successful season with who we play. Hopefully this season can be the confidence builder we’ve been waiting on for these players. After all the losing they’ve endured, it’s time for them to have some success.

Coach Trickett is following him on instagram. Not sure if that was before or after the hire, but take it for what you will.

Fun game so far. Both teams look like they can score quickly. Should fit right in to the conference.

It feels more like a break up of a bad relationship. It’s not you it’s me, I got some **** to work on.

If the players and recruits like them, I like them.

Auburn has size, some talent with zero composure. They won’t go far this season.

I thought the NBA was soft…

Most annoying thing during BG’s tenure is that a 5 point deficit always seems insurmountable.

Hope not serious? You think he doesn't know what's going on with all these candidates?
Uhh not serious. I actually think he’s a pretty intelligent guy. I don’t think he would entertain the idea of hiring him.

Has VPMK done a google search on Gruden yet? Someone should tell him…

With Marsh in there I expect to see heavy RPOs with post routes and slants. Marsh will probably fast ball every throw and have as many TDs as picks. It’s no secret Houston and everyone else will be looking to shut down the run and force him to make quick accurate throws. In his 3rd season I would hope he’s ready to make the next step, but he really hasn’t shown us he’s changed much.

The two coaches that have had success here had something in common when it came to recruiting.
They wanted to lock down the bay area.
A ton of talent comes from this area and the 1 thing you have that almost no other school has is the promise to play close to home.
stop wasting time recruiting south carolina, georgia, north carolina ,etc. Look at our roster. it's loaded with kids from these areas. Great hunting grounds for Clemson. Not so much for USF.
Lock up the bay area.
I agree but we also need to get some kids from Broward county. I think I heard somewhere that Coach Trickett is supposed to cover that area or has good connections. The kids down there are the real game changers.

2020:
15 freshman/juco-9 are not with the team or do not get significant playing time this season.
12 transfers-10 are not with the team. 1 has missed games this season due to injury.
2021:
21 freshman/jucos-15 are no longer with the team or didn’t make it to campus or do not get significant playing time this season.
9 transfers-3 are no longer with team, 3 have missed games this year due to injury.
2022:
12 freshman/jucos-10 do not get significant playing time or did not make it to campus or retired from football.
15 transfers-2 not with the team. 6 missed games due to injury or do not get significant playing time.
I could be off by a player or two who missed games due to injury this season. I know we have a lot of 6 year seniors playing but it’s a little disheartening that a lot of players haven’t cracked the two deep.
