CCS certainly isn't a cheerleader that's for sure. Good guy? I imagine he is. Good example to young men? I hope he is. Head coach material? Not so much. Maybe he is tired? Maybe is was a much better D coordinator than he is a head coach. Correct me if I'm wrong...but seems to me when he was at Louisville and really rolling with his ranked team that good old USF went to LVlle and dealt them a loss under CJL. If we go to UConn and kick butt(hopefully) it's a win but what does it prove??  So CCS a good man? I'm sure he is...

CJL never beat Louisville in Da’Ville....it was Skip Holtz that beat Strong at Cardinal Stadium.

So there is this pattern where Strong basically gives the DC and OC total control over their sides of the football, and says he is there to build the players character.

I get that character is important, but it seems like the man really doesn’t care about football anymore.

He’s certainly qualified to teach them how to get paid far more than you are worth!

Stinks for our program either way.  We have to get out of G5 some how or it will be like this for a long time.  Most coaches use us as a stepping stone to greener pastures, which puts us right back to square one.

USF lost Willie Taggart to greener pastures...got Charlie Strong!

UCF lost Scott Frost to greener pastures...got Josh Heupel!

Yup, the G5 is the problem.

    Had a couple of questions

    1. I noticed the TBP was est. in 1999, when’s the party?

    2. Have you given the check to the athletic department? If so, were they happy?  When did it take place?

Thanks, Ill hang up and listen.

Brad is somewhere in the Cayman Islands!😱

They have been wearing them all year, I actually like it, their team gets a collective yawn from Dallas anyways due to A&M and UT popularity, also Baylor, TCU, TT all P5, need to do something original to get noticed.

Beat the snot out all the P5 teams they play would get them noticed!

Question: how is it that Colorado has a friggin Buffalo run on the field, Memphis has a caged Tiger, Texas has Bevo the Stear, and OU has a six horses running out in the field....yet we can’t even have a docile Bull eating it’s cud in the parking lot?

When did Boomer and Sooner become six horses?

Ditto! I would not mind seeing a statue with Leavitt because he was pretty much the architect of USF football! I will continue to support USF football for one of the reasons that I’m pretty sure Leavitt wants it that way. Wish the bang wagon fans back in 2007 would come back as to me this program needs all the support we can get. Thanks CJL for showing it can be done at USF. College football playoff system needs to get fixed and give us so called little programs that could a fair shot

“So called little programs” that can’t manage to win their conference needn’t be concerned with the fairness of the playoff system.

I don't care what he makes outside of its relationship to the buyout. CCS paid his dues and busted his ass to get here he is so no jealousy, but nice implied strawman. I do care about his buyout though because we may need to use it soon. From all reports it's linked to his salary and not all of of that is publicly available. It doesn't get any deeper than that. Take a breath, guy.

As for UCF you're dead wrong because they used the foundation classification because there is a cap on damages an organization classified as such is liabel to pay. Which is exactly what happened. Athletics departments use it for that kind of legal protection and to skirt public records/sunshine laws.

Every year I debate on joining the Alumni association. What are real benefits if any that you have received? All I can see is generic statements about coupons to local stores and restaurants etc.

Ask not what your association can do for you, but what you can do for your association.
