Anybody go to the "Around the Horns" event in Dallas last night? Anyone going to the one tonight in Atlanta? Just curious what was said -- Holtz and Heath were scheduled to be at the Dallas event last night ... Thanks.

There is no around the horns this year...

The dinner/BBQ this Friday is in place of the Hillsborough events in past years.

I went to the one in ATL this evening.  Great time, got to meet coaches Holtz and Heath, both were super great to talk to, as was AD Woolard.  There wasnt a lot of new things that were said.  Holtz knows how to fire up a crowd though.  He seems very confident in our chances this year in-conference and on a national level.  I asked him about Vero Beach and he said they are working out the details to get back there since the experience there was so good last year.

All in all just a good night to meet the coaches and hang with Alumni Association people and Atlanta Bulls fans.  Kawika Mitchell and Stephen Nicholas were there as well.

Got an email last night that the Pinellas Chapter is having their Around the Horns event as a dinner at the Island Grill in Clearwater Beach on June 13th.  The golf outings were put on hiatus this year.

what is this event?

Coaches Holtz and Heath came by Dallas and Atlanta where there are out-of-state Bulls Clubs to meet with alumni who might not get a chance to get down to a lot of games in Tampa or be part of Tampa Bay area happenings.  The coaches just mingled for a while and spoke about what is going on in their respective sports and answered questions that anyone had.  It was more or less a thank you for out of town Bulls for continuing to support the sports programs and university.
