Hello USF!

I have recently been talking with Spencer Nielson.

He says he red shirted at USF this last season and because of academic problems had to leave USF. I have not been able to find any information (college or high school) on the kid. Have you guys heard of him?

He is trying to walk on at BYU this year as a red shirt freshman.

Anyone have any information on Spencer Nielson?

I follow USF Basketball and have never heard of the kid. I can almost say for sure he was never on the team. Maybe he attended an open try out.

Maybe it was the "other" USF - University of San Francisco.

Is your sister hot?  If so, let her know I'm a 3 sport athlete.

Sorry, couldn't resist  :)

That's probably it because I've never heard of the kid.

Lol, reminds me of an OL a few years ago, this guy was going into bars telling girls he was going to be an early round draft pick that April. He was a freshmen who had redshirted the previous year.

OKAY UPDATE

The kid says he redshirted his freshman year (might have been a walkon) and then went on a 2 year mormon mission and then returned. So does anyone recognize the name from a couple years ago?

Talking to the kid he seems legit.

and no not San Fran he says South Florida

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
