anyone watching the FSU vs UF game on Sun Sports right now?

notice anything different between this game at a baseball game at USF?

no wonder we cant get solid recruits.

Granted, this is FSU vs UF and both teams are ranked in the top 15 but it also a Tuesday night.  But that place is loud and packed.

our new baseball stadium will help.

maybe we can get FSU to come down for a game or two, that'd pack the place and sell some tix.

A couple of years ago Florida came and there were about 4,200 people there. We play Florida again soon, so you can imagine that people will come out. Unfortunately, it will probably be mostly Florida fans. Hopefully we can get a good crowd out there and play some good ball like the 3rd game at the beginning of the year. We just need to finish it out this time!

I was suprised to hear they had 9K there. But you have to consider not much going on in Jax this time of year as compare to here (Spring Training, Lightning, etc.). Plus, strong fan base for both teams in the area - good recipe for a great crowd/event.

FSU has a great baseball fanbase and their games always have fun atmospheres. I even think they have a loyal rowdy group that's called 'Section B' I think that does all these chants during games. It helps that they are always competing for Omaha every season. Cool stadium set up also in Tally. I'm sure UF gets good crowds but not sure they have the following that FSU gets in baseball. College baseball can be fun but it's hard for me to get into it, prefer MLB...not a fan of the metal bats
