We're 4-0 ... most important.

We don't play very well away against lesser teams - VERY Troubling.

The team continues to fall apart in the 4th - VERY VERY Troubling.

Leading Rushers, in order:

Taylor

Planchard

Grothe

Both RB's are avg. over 5 per carry.

Grothe is over 65% with 7 TD's and only 2 INT's

AJ Love has shown he's one of the best WR

TE's have 11 catches and 2 TD's(Hill)

Our Offense is better than last year, AVG over 450 yards. Last game is not an indication. We've scored 17 TD's, but need to get in the End Zone MORE !

Converting nearly 50% of our 3rd Downs.

Our Kicking Game still needs impronement.

Defense is doing very good. Allowing 2.4 per carry. Only 238.5 per game. Allowing 30% on 3rd Down Conversions.

We need TurnOvers ! We've lost 4 Fumbles and recovered none of our Opponents. INT's are equal at 3.

Our Punt Returning is not good.

Delbert is doing Good.

We've done better in the Penalty dept.

We need to have a complete game against NC State!

All in all the bulls look solid as indicated above.  The stats drive home the position of being 4-0.  By the 5th game we will figure more out or will have another squaker - I think it will be the 15 point win we are finally looking for.

NCSU is a decent ACC team but will not prevail. They will be home, in the evening, and it will be cool (maybe 55 degrees or so).  CJL gets it all together will Gregory/Burnham hitting on all 8 cylinders.

And an (thus far) undefeated UConn, and a rising Pit, and probably another surprise or two before its all over. 

But if we bring our A game the rest of the season we could end up in the NC, and that's a fact.  But if the team that played FIU shows up for these games, well...

I think best case scenario is Sugar Bowl (Orange will be a stretch but not out of the question).

To add a bit.. about the Falling apart in the 4th quarter...

i think it is more that we don't know how to hold and or extend a lead.

We seem to get complacent with a 14+ pt lead.

When we play like we are behind or even, we play very well. 

We need to learn to not take our foot of the accelerator.

Agreed, thats gotta be on coaching. If what you ran early in the game was doing well why stop at the start of the

4th quarter.  I can see starting to shut down with 5 min left maybe but not at the start of a whole quarter of play

Grothe has become an even better player this year. It seems he is much more patient in the pocket and I think that has lead him to be more accurate.
