Our team seems to be much more poised than in past years. Just watching UCF give 15 yarder after 15 yarder brought back too many memories of how undisciplined we used to be. Glad Jim has gotten that under control.

USF is at -4 with 3 INT and 3 lost fumbles vs 2 INT recovered and no recovered fumbles. In fact, according to the USF stats, USF opponents this year haven't put the ball on the ground yet. > Kizarvexis

Nate's big INT was huge. Without that KU miscue, we go to OT at best.Kizarvexis

This post is after the NC State game.USF is now at a 7.60 for 57.20 penalty yards per game and the opponents are at 10.20 for 88.80 penalty yards per game.So the penalty average for USF is trending up and the average for the opponents is slowly trending down due to fewer personal foul penalties by the opponents. But the turnover margin is improving. There were no fumbles lost or interceptions by USF QBs and the defense collected 3 picks, so the turnover margin for the season is at -1. And the Bulls finally caused some fumbles (3), but could not get to any of them before NC State did. So things are looking up.Kizarvexis

I'm optimistic this will transfer to how they handle the pressure of the spotlight down the stretch.
