USF Makes More Tickets Available for South Florida - Kansas Game

i don't think its anywhere near sellout.  last that was mentioned, the west upper deck wasn't even opened up.

this game just hasn't caught the attention of the "casual fan" the way WV did last season...although the program has received more preseason attention than ever before there wasn't a "breakout" game like Auburn last year. Not to mention WVU was ranked 5 seeds higher last season when we played them and we were ranked lower.

I'd like to see a sell out, but not so sure it'll happen at this point given these and other factors.

what does everyone else think?

I'd be shocked if this one doesn't sell out. The rest of our home games are no where near as appealing as this one.

This game is huge and given the solid turnout for Tenn Martin, I would bet that we sell out before Friday

latest number i got from usf last night was 50,000 including students, which would put it in the top five home crowds, but not a sellout ...

Call it what it is.  A must-win, nationally televised game that doesn't make people want to open their wallets.  Immediately give 5K to 6K to the local boys and girls clubs and save the rest of the tickets for sales this week and walk ups. . . . . let's fill it up.

Plus we're already paying for ushers and concessions in the upper deck right?  Maybe a couple of those kids will buy a USF shirt to offset our losses.

if there is interest from additional students-- open it up to them-- no sense letting good seats go to waste if we can do so.

Also, keep in mind that with the rain for the Tenn-Martin game, we lost a few "casual" fans that would rather watch us beat a 1AA school on TV than in person (and wet).  I'll be that we have a great crowd for the Kansas game.
