The Bucs play at home on Sunday afternoon, and typically when we play on Saturday there isn't enough time to change the field over. With us playing on Friday and the Bucs not on until 4pm Sunday does that enable them to paint the field for us? It sure would be nice for such a high profile game. At best we may get the white flag with our logo but no endzones. They could go Outback Bowl style and just paint Tampa Bay in the endzone but those would be in Buc colors. Nothing close would really help the team perform. But more lee-way to scheduling, closer for the students, and of course, ability to do what ever we want with the staidum, i.e. signs, field paint, and overall college appearence. Non of those help a team's performance on the field.

This was done for the UTM game becasue we can get two games worth of field painting out of it-- one a national broadcast. true...i didnt even put it together that the bucs havent play at RayJay since our UTM game. So chances are that the field is still painted for USF.

The center and endzone grass is removed and new grass is placed and painted. Then after the game the original grass is placed in its original place. Now the question is will one full day be long enough for the grass to take root enough to play on. I say no but I know the TSA can roll the crap out of it and it should be fine. They do it for the Outback Bowl every year most years.
