What Time do tailgate lots open??

Hey guys 10 days away!! I wanna do it right and I want to get there around noon for the Tennessee-Martin game. My concern is the lots being closed. What time to they open? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Lots open 5 hrs before the game, i have called and complained to try & get them to open lots 7, 10, 15, 20, and even 24 hrs before kickoff, they are sticking to 5. I imagine if there was an increased deamand and not just 50 of us from the bullspen calling they may reconsider but I do not believe that is the case currently.

wow thats horrible, if they want this to turn into a big time football school they need to allow for some real authentic tailgating. If you can give me that number I would appreciate it. 5 hours is not enough time!

There has been some debate as to whether you can get into the mall lot earlier.  I distinctly remember them not allowing us to get in at 11am for a later game last year, but, prior years there has been nobody there to stop you.  I plan on giving it a try for the TN-Martin game.  If not, we will be tailgating at Dogwater until we can get in.

Officially all lots open 5 hours before the game...

Unofficially, you can still enter the Mall from Himes.  Bear in mind at the old Mall lot they have the right to kick you out - it is private property owned by the Glazers and managed by TSA, not public property.  Most of the time in the past they just went around collecting $$ from early parkers.

The Himes entrance has to be open for HARTline to reach it's transfer station.

yea I was wondering the same thing, if there is even anyone to stop you from getting in to the mall lot... it may be hit or miss. What is dogwater btw????

hmmmmm is it worth it to take that risk? anyone else willing  to do it? I mean we need to represent this home opener!!

I've never been kicked out of the mall lot for being there too early.
