Either that or this college got us mixed up on its website.

Foothill College is a community college in California.  Anthony Jones was a kid out of Jefferson HS that signed with Colorado State in 2006 but didn't qualify so he was placed at Foothill.  He's looking to get into a FBS school now.  He must be doing good to earn 1st Team All-Nor-Cal conference honors.  I haven't heard about him verballing to us but maybe the school knows something that we don't.

I am not a member, but Scout.com had a tease about USF getting help for this season. Maybe this was the kid?

Matt i guess a lot do but its really an individual thing.  This kid is from Tampa so maybe he wants to play in his home town.  This is all hypothetical since I don't even know if the kid has an offer from us for sure.

yea  but im sure those pac10 and wac coaches have a pretty good pipeline with some of those schools.  either way, if he comes to USF ill root for him.  if not, well im sure we will be fine too

Pretty hard to be a "silent" verbal when a website has it out there.  ;)

Scout is now confirming that he WILL be a Bull this year.

The USF coaching staff has been looking for immediate help on the D-Line, and they may have found some, from all the way out west! Find out why this 6'2, 300 pound NG/DT originally from Jefferson HS is coming back home.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
